  • Before the viewing of the Santo Niño, we walked to Magellan's cross. My wife bought 4 candles for our family representation over prayer. The cross was ordered to be implanted by Ferdinand Magellan. It marked the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines.

We were returning from Clark with about a 6 hour layover in Cebu last year. We went to the Mactan Shrine and then to the Magellan Cross and church. The church area was a madhouse with all the people. I don’t know what we were expecting, but the cross seemed like such a let down. I think I got about 10 seconds of video

I been to it a few times, but this time was the procession of santo Niño. Gave me a whole new perspective of what that means to the Catholics of Cebu. I'm in the Process of editing the next day's event, Sinulog. Thanks for watching and commenting Jack.

@josevicentejrmeneses8552 Not sure if the question was for me. I was aware a little bit of what to expect. As I been to Manila during the Black Nazarene. This seemed less crowded and organized. Thanks for watching and commenting. ✌️🐻
