This interview was really good. Kele is one of my biggest inspirations in life and this is the first time I've seen him act so real in front of media. No matter what he does he will always be my hero and someone I look up to in my life.
Great guy that Kele is... And no hes not a stoned... He was born with a speech impediment. Millions of people suffer with this impedement, i am one of them. Musically hes great and the new album was solid and very intriguing to listen to. Bloc Party is legit!!! Kele ur a bad ass!!

It's funny how people found influences on "Silent Alarm" that were not there...I think Bloc Party borrowed a lot of stuff from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs first album, from Pretty Girls Make Graves second album, and from Mogwai as well, in their soundscapes...And at the time, few journalists pointed that out.To them, Bloc Party only had post-punk, 80s influences. Of course, they had their own thing too but I mean, other influences than what the journalists came up with could be heard.
I really do feel the Gang of Four influence stands out quiet a bit on their earlier tracks like "Staying Fat" sounds a lot like "Damaged Goods". How ever with Silent Alarm there is a lot of different soundscapes that get fleshed out.
stop listening to the stutter and listen to the person for real.. can't people get over something that simple. His answers are genuine and he's unreal.
Would all of you rather he just stop talking, pause for a bit until he gathers all the right words then begin again? ...some people just like to hear themselves talk; others like to choose their words wisely especially during an interview durrrrr

Never realised he had a stutter from hearing him in interviews. Thom Yorke definitely stumbles more.
