That might be an older version since I bought one a few months ago and it came with a propper tamper. Also, mine is metallic with black plastic (all the wood parts are black). It is a really high-quality plastic. The drip tray is not the best since it doesn´t fit really well...Still...I love it...

Hi Jim thanks for the informative video. Need your advice regarding the Lusso1 and 2. Which would you advise for home use? Can you tell us what the built quality and finish is like?

So is there a difference in flavour profile between this machine and a La Pavoni Professional or Europiccola which has an opposing lever action?

Jim, could you please demo the Lusso single group and explain the differences with the Export? Does the Lusso have better group temperature stability?

You mentioned the boiler was stainless steel. Is this correct?

Jim. two questions for you. 1). What coffee did you use for your demonstration espressos? and 2). Do you carry any metal/ better tampers for the PV at 1st-Line Equipment available for order with the PV?

Do not try this at home be forewarned this is an attempt at comedy.
I do encourage people to give the grouphead some love, just like he did. Grab on to that thing like your life depends on it. Now that you are back from the emergency dept with hopefully less than 2nd-degree burn on your hands. Next, you should make an attempt to refill the boiler after your unit has warmed up. If the first thing didn't kill you this might. The boiler is under pressure so unscrewing that plug and will release a torrent of steam that will make the emerg doc wonder if you don't have a death wish.

Great review! Why is the single basket a challenge vs the double?
