Why do some westerners wear suits in a hot environment? The umbrella has a significant and symbolic meaning in the Ashanti kingdom. For it is written that for lack of knowledge and wisdom my people will perish. Sadly many Africa kingdoms lacked knowledge and wisdom so their mighty kingdoms didn’t sustain the white mans deceitful ideology. The Ashanti’s were smart and tough to beat brilliantly or militarily by the Europeans This is what has made the Ashantis a unique people filled with pride for their kingdom. They were BRAVE, BRUTAL, AND BRUTISH AGAINT THE BRITISH. That is what brought them this kind of recognition by the British monarchy. Time has passed but the Ashanti’s haven’t passed. Their culture and believes are still intact. You live or hate them, they don’t give a damn about who hate them.

Whiteman brought an umbrella to Africa. We use umbrellas to cover our heads against Sunshine and rain. I don't know when it becomes our culture to cover our heads with an umbrella in a room. If using Umbrellas in a room is part of our cultural practices, does it mean Otumfour can use umbrellas in a Car and airplane? Does Otumfour use umbrellas at his palace in Kumasi or is it a new cultural practice in their so call Ashanti kingdom? Let's try to accept mistakes and do away with them.

I beg, trace the civilization of Egypt and see the extent to which we were civilized before they came to destroy everything for us, stole from us and retold our story in a different way, to our new generation who didn't see what their forefathers achieved, in a way to satisfy their white supremacist agenda.
Pls search the untold stories of African civilization and know more.
