The problem people had with it was that the manga was way crazier, with nazi vampires and all. The newer OVAs follow it more closely. I way preferr this old version though. Without the story going over the top all the time, it leaves way more space for the awesome characters.

I have to say, this moment is much more powerful here than in the OVA. In Ultimate, Integra's still horrified at the end of the scene. But here, she basically looks Alucard straight in the face and gives probably the most badass retort she could possibly give in her situation...for all she knew, she was going to go down fighting. But her willingness to do whatever it took won Alucard over.

She's just a little girl who got shot, was about to be murdered, and now she's face to face with an immortal demon whose power is beyond her comprehension. She should not be giving a badass retort. Maybe she should be saying "AHHHHH" or "PLEASE DON'T EAT ME" but she shouldn't be saying you "You recalcitrant trust fund baby". That would be completely unnatural and out of character for an adolescent girl. This is why Ultimate is better.

I think it's not "hate" as in "want-to-kill" hate but more of "hate-to-deal-with-if-things-go-south" kind of hate. Sebastian strikes me as the type who always makes an assessment of whether someone is a threat or not upon the first meeting. If he thinks he can handle it, he'd just play along and that happens a lot since he is super strong. But if the guy actually poses a threat to Ciel, he'd be flexing his claws behind his back. Alucard always carries his badass OP presence so Sebastian for sure will catch how OP he is. Add that to Alucard's unpredictable nature and it's easy to see how Sebastian would be wary of him. Well, so long as he sees Integra has Alucard on a leash I think the tension will dissipate quickly enough. This is just my opinion though.😊

i think the white hair is because of either 1:) malnutrition and lack of contact with light or vitamin D and so the dark pigment was not needed in Alucard's hair cells therefore the hair naturally turns white 2:) magic like Tokyo ghouls 3:) Alucard dyed his hair black. take any of the answer and be satisfied. or if you can purpose a better theory i am willing to read it :)

Honestly I love this version mainly because Alucard's hair is still white from hibernation. It's different yet refreshing.
