If you press & hold CTRL, your track will be straight from it's last connection point. So it doesn't work on the first laid track, but if it's connected on a station first, it will be straight and it makes the process easier.
trains going back n forth just need an engine on each side facing the correct way, also not sure if it matters but i put the station on the end of the line pointing forward for both side
Well, Train station need to be a circle, so if train move to another train station but has no rail can move, will stuck, the safe way is make sure every train station is circle. I'm thinking of maybe I can start from another new place and try to make things different, but so far I have no idea what I can do.

For me circles take too much space. I have extensive rail network of only two way tracks acting like roads with 2 locomotives on each train opposite ways with each other. Train stations need to facing be opposite way too. The signals act crazy that way though but I found the solution. Train station does not allow itself signals when it is ended with one way track. So only use them in real intersections and maybe some block signals on longer sections of the railway. Train station itself need to widen for 2 tracks after the station to allow at least 2 trains traveling back and forth on the same track without them colliding. Do not use signals in that intersection right after the station even if that looks like an intersection needind a path signal. Nobody have made the extensive tutorial of that and this was my first playthrough playing with trains and it have made me crazy trying to make this work but for me it is more logical.
For back and forth trains, you always want the station arrow facing away from the tracks.
also can't wait for the shorts: "trains, how do they work?"
shorts are great but trains need their own video, one minute ain't gonna cut it!
06:04 remember you can ping the position of your cursor in multiplayer using ALT + left mouse button
God tip!
Train tracks are simple... for the folk who don't have OCD and believe in chaos....
Discovered your channel with the shorts, I really like your content!
Not building on foundations?!? Blasphemy!! 😂
How dare he lol
His realization had me laughing out loud, because I would have reacted the same way! 😂
It is cool that you play games with your kids. My dad and I didn't play many together but we did enjoy the heck out of Unreal Tournament 2004.
I wish I got my old man in to that back in the day!! Many an hour spent mastering those levels!!
no foundations? good luck washing that off your soul! 😄🤣😂

Ride in the train: 🚫
Run on train tracks: 👍
the no foundation got me by surprise
That spiral train ramp, was that 1m and 2m ramps? its really nice.
Thanks! That was done using painted beams that were sloped just a little bit!
This man just feels like he knows what hes doing
I started twitching seeing the lack of foundations.
I love videos like these, keep going!
I’m new to this game and my lord, it sucks you in 😂

@@TaijaT76 you need to use block and path signals at the same time both sides then you can have multiple trains using the same line
Love the episode, keep it up ❤😊
Great video mate! Thank you!
Love your Content guys!
Oooo doc now you are talking my language
Need a content warning next time, building without foundations, urgh.
Robert saves the day.
Friend, get over yourself...
I know! So embarrassing!
Hey Doc just a little feedback: could you turn down the game music a little bit?
This episode is really buttering my autism
