If the sleeves are ok but the body is tight see if there are vertical darts which can be undone but beware because the position of some darts is marked with tiny holes in the fabric, but maybe these could be covered with embroidery?
Полочки разной ширины получились для любой фигуры,зато не будет валятся в шкафу.Ну и ладно застежка на пуговицы идет либо налево,либо направо,бывает такой фасон блузки.

Why not just let out the side seams?
Ready to wear only has a very narrow seam to begin with. There is no room to let a seam out.
You could add an under arm gusset, but it’s hard to find fabric that would match. This technique is a brilliant idea!
