For me, the part that makes no sense is that "Raiden" isn't a name, but a title. It's why Ei and Makoto were referred to as such, and why the current Electro Archon is called "The Raiden Shogun". So for Acheron to say "My name is...Raiden Bosenmori Mei" surprised me a little. Still, it's a small thing.
