The only annoying thing was the constant timejump between Kumo and the rest of the class. They don't even say it's 15 years apart as you only find out through the dragon one saying they were found that long ago.

Overlord, No Game No Life, and Realist Hero have a lot of the kingdom building aspects that made Slime shine. Bofuri, Grimgar, and Sky Wizard Academy have a slow and steady progression from extremely weak to absurdly strong like Spider.

Zero and Bladeworks are both really great. Stay/Night was okay... But I couldn't finish Grand Order, it was soooo bad. The main character had the worst, worst protector with no power. Being based on a mobile game ruined the show. The best fates had the best leads. I watched way too much of Grand Order and every fight was won with "we can get along right." It was all bull-crap speeches... The main guy never won a single fight with his entirely undeserved increasing group of people.
