- Here’s A Big New Movie Update For 7/15/2023. In This Update, I Have 11 VHS Tapes, 7 DVD’s, 16 Blu-ray’s, and 7 4K Ultra HD Discs To Show.
The 11 VHS Tapes All Come From eBay, The 7 DVD’s, I Got 5 From Amazon And Got 2 From eBay, The 16 Blu-ray’s, 15 Comes From Amazon And 1 From eBay, And 7 The 4K Discs, 1 Comes From Criterion Collection’s Website And The Other 6 Came From Amazon.

1. An Everlasting Piece was released by DreamWorks Pictures in North America, while internationally by Columbia Pictures through Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International.
2. Ali was released by Columbia Pictures in North America, while internationally by Initial Entertainment Group.

The Lovebirds was released as a Netflix original in other countries.

And when I saw "20th Century Fox" got renamed as "20th Century Studios" and for "Fox Searchlight Pictures" being renamed as "Searchlight Pictures", I got upset about it myself; when I found out WHY Disney renamed them that way, then I understood why that happened. On the other hand when I work with Disney's Studios, I plan to put a message at the end of the 20th Century Studios logo in a full white screen saying "Formerly known as "20th Century Fox"" with the 20th Century Fox logo in the message; it'll be the same thing for "Searchlight Pictures" while adding "2000" to that logo saying "2000 Searchlight Pictures", saying in the message "Formerly known as "Fox 2000 Pictures" and "Fox Searchlight Pictures" combined together with the logos of "Fox 2000 Pictures" and "Fox Searchlight Pictures". So that way, we'll ALWAYS remember these names of "20th Century Fox", "Fox 2000 Pictures", and "Fox Searchlight Pictures".... just like remembering celebrities that have passed on. I'm not trying to be Off-topic; I'm just stating the facts for the future.

I Have Ali (2001) On DVD
Hey, Clayton Condo. It's me, Oral Richards Jr. Before, i say something about your video, let me just get something off my chest. I was going to post my comment last night but, my phone died on me and i wasn't able to finish my comment, thus it was too late by midnight. That's all i got to say for today. Now, that I've got to say i wanted off my chest, let me provide my comments on your video:
1. Jane Birkin, British-French actress/singer-songwriter and mother to actress Charlotte Gainsbourg has passed away two days ago in her home in Paris, France at the age of 76. 😢

3. Your blu-ray of Ali is the Commemorative Edition that runs 5 minutes shorter than the Theatrical version and 13 minutes shorter than the Director's cut released on Dvd in 2004. It's director Michael Mann's preferred version of the film, thus making it the third cut of the film.
4. An Everlasting Piece was one of the 4 films that were joint ventures between DreamWorks pictures and Columbia pictures. DreamWorks handled US Distribution. While Columbia pictures handled internationally. Neither films took off. It was a Box Office disaster, grossing $75,228 against a $14 million budget. A result of DreamWorks reducing it's theater count from 800 theaters to 8 theaters, prompting one of it's producers, Jerome O'Connor to file a lawsuit against DreamWorks, worth $10 million in federal court in Manhattan. He alleged the film was sabotaged because director Barry Levinson refused to change scenes to please British officals in it's Foreign Office, which objected to it's "sympathetic portrayal" of the IRA and DreamWorks officals feared that the film might interfere with co-founder Steven Spielberg's attaining an honorary knighthood (which he would recieve in January 2001). O'Connor would later argue that then Prime Minister Tony Blair had arragned for a loan of military equipment and 2,000 troops to Spielberg's production of Band of Brothers (TV miniseries), and that Spielberg gave Blair's son Euan a job in the production crew, indicating a quid pro quo. DreamWorks would later deny that they requested any cuts to the film.
A decade after filing his lawsuit, it was dismissed by a New York judge in February 2011. O'Connor's counsel reserved the right to file an appeal, but ultimately didn't file one.
The other 3 films DreamWorks and Columbia pictures released together were Almost Famous, Evolution and Envy. All three films, along with the aforementioned An Everlasting Piece were financial flops, but only Almost Famous was a success with critics.
The only exception to this was Memoirs of a Geisha, which was released by Columbia pictures in North America and DreamWorks pictures internationally.
5. Alpha is told entirely in Fictional language.
6. The Lovebirds was about to be released theatrically by Paramount Pictures, as seen in the trailers. But, the Covid-19 pandemic caused Paramount to sell the North American rights to Netflix, thus making it a Netflix original.
7. Motherless Brooklyn was Bruce Willis' last film to get a wide release. His subsequent films were released Straight-to-Video. It lasted until his retirement this year, due to being diagnosed with aphasia, which has increased to dementia.
8. After Hours is director Martin Scorsese's most underrated film of his career, in my opinion.
9. Ford v. Ferrari was one of the last films released by 20th century fox and one of the first films relased by Disney before they changed it to 20th century studios, which sucks in my opinion, because to me Disney already had Touchstone Pictures, what's their excuse?
10. Planes, Trains and Automobiles deleted scenes that's been recently unearthed is a big treat for cinephiles and me and I've seen some of them before.
11. I think Real Genius has an Alternate Ending, featured on the 4k blu-ray.
12. I think your 4k blu-ray of Spartacus is the most complete version to date.
