I was 36 when this song hit the charts and has been one of my all-time favorites. along with Danger Zone. You take me back to the days when I could still throw a football at least 50 yards and catch up to a 90 mph fastball. Well.... Thank you so much! Amazing playing, both guitar tabs! My guitar teacher played those opening notes to me when I was just a beginner, when the song came out! Just the timing and bending control of those notes was beyond me, at that time, and I never really thought about learning it again! Do you realize its been forty years since the original Footloose movie came out...the musical keeps the legacy of the movie..all over the world the musical is performed in various languages and the songs remind us of our teen years when the movie came out i was in grade eleven.

At 0:24 (left side) there is a much easier way of playing that F# on the 9th fret and E on the 7th fret of the A string. Just skip to the 4th string and play both at 4th and 2nd fret. Now all the notes fall into a box.
Yes, thats true my friend. Reason why i play it on A string is that Kennys guitarist plays it there....or at least i thought so...when i looked little closer i noticed he is probably playing harmonized part on D string fret 7 and 5. But anyway you can choose which way fits best to you. Probably 4th string is little bit easier 👍

The tone is sweeeeet, what amp settings would you use without the plugin?
That's almost impossible to say....depends on so many things...what amp, guitar, mics, pedals and so on...😅👍🎸🎸 If i use my Fender Bandmaster edge of breakup would be a good starting point 💁
@@JuhaAitakangas haha yeah you're right, I should've been more specific 😂 I just mean the amp settings you might use if you weren't using pedals etc, I use a mooer multi fx pedal with a les paul studio, but I use different amps, Line 6, Katana, orange mini
