I'm sorry but I thought that movie was awful. shitty dialogue and way too long. plus they made vikings seem like they were these gross animals when really they were very clean and tidy compared to other cultures at the the time. if you want to see a much more accurate depiction of vikings watch "Vikings". it's not 100% historically accurate but much better than Northman. hell even "The Last Kingdom" is better

The dialogue sounded like an actual Norse saga and everything we saw was really historically accurate, from weapons and armors to buildings and rituals. Granted, somethings were made more dramatic like how they killed everyone on that village at the start and that scene of knattleikr as well. Overall i think the movie was a really refreshing experience from the current state of hollywood and a good representation of a norse saga, very violent, dark yet inspiring and heroic as well.
