Favorite is the Armstrong for small ships. Just feels so real. Walls are not paper thin looking like the stroud and demios. And I just love the red lighting. Works perfect for my small fighters.
I like it because of the high ceiling and high windows. If I remember correctly, it is 1-1/2 Habs high, making it the tallest one story cockpit. It also has a really cinematic entrance.
@@deaddrop3772 Commented on wrong notification post. Yes that is why I love the Armstrong. You walk into a lower section and then step up to flight deck.
Oy. I like having my POV clear, without any separators. Some of these views would give me whiplash, trying to look beyond the frame of the cockpit. Don't like the Taiyo's outside looks, but LORD, THEIR POV. Perfection.
The Taiyo's veiw is a bit blocked to the left and right, there are only 2 exterior attachment points, and the whole back half of the interior is wasted space. If you are going for a small cockpit and an unobstucted view is your most important criteria, go with the Nova Magellan C1 or Stroud Viking. A much better trade-off.
Nova type 2 and daimos cockpit l find best for a fighter as they have very open view side and forward as fighter jets have. Thanks for the informative video. 🇧🇻☕
Best Small cockpit view: Nova Magellan C1. Best Large cockpit view: Nova Cabot. Best overall: Stroud Viking - good view, 6 exterior attachment points, crew 4, available at Level 1.
In these cockpits, for real immersion, I would like to have a completely functional cockpit like in flight simulator. Right now, all these buttons and screens are just decoration instead of providing actual; flight and ship data information. Thats goes for elite dangerous and other games who just provide decorative cockpits. I enjoy a full immersion gameplay where a cockpit could be used at its in game full potential. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed the video.
Hopefully one day we'll get a mod that toggles the cockpit on and off for better view while in ship combat. Is it easier to fly with the controller? I may have to hook one up to my PC and check it out.
Bethesda seriously needs to fix the animation times for entering/exiting the cockpit. They are more than PAINFULLY slow. It is absolutely ridiculous. Especially the Deimos cockpit. It's horrendous. They all are but, that one in particular.
i absolutely can not stand the amount of crap in the way of the targeting retical. usually 25 to 35 percent is just wasted. The stroud bridges are great for viewing room but you have to set them up a tier or two or you can only see half the screen again. I dislike the Taiyo's layout but prefer it because it has the least amount of wasted viewing. Though i gave up on cockpit flying and just build my ships in a U shape that is thin in the center now days.
Total missed opportunity. They NEED to adjust the bridges and cockpits to allow good visibility flying in first person. Only the Cabot comes close to acceptable. It kills immersion.
Nice! Started with my favorite pilot seat. Love the Hope Tech interior aesthetic, it's dark and cozy.
Perfect video. This game is gorgeous. Thanks!

@@Power5 I am not talking about outpost building.

I HATE how much wasted space there is in the back of the Taiyo cockpit. Could have shortened it or put something back there to fill it.
@@jaybird0312Agreed. At lease 2 more crew could be added right there... 😔
@@RealKeetz they could have followed the Stroud-Eklund or Hopetech cockpits concept, with the extra stations

NB// YOU'RE A LEGEND!
Amazing work, congratulations
Thanks.
That Nova Bridge give me fighter jet vibes with that view.
You the real MVP for this
My favorite cockpit is the Viking I just wish they would put more windows up top
I just wish it had better interior decor, as it is pretty barren inside. I also wish the back end didn't have the sides blocked off, waste of space.
I stole a C-Class ship with the kontiki cockpit I think it's my new favorite

I’d like to see more about the ship you built to showcase these. Especially the variant with the Deimos Phobos cockpits
It's the Star Eagle

I'm used to controller for this type of stuff, but in all honesty, the mouse and keyboard are more than enough.
Nova is the best I hope there are more

I think you are just really impatient bud
@@jackgomez5894 nope. Not at all. Ive waited two hours to get a haircut. Many other things I've waited a long time for. Nice try though.
@@jaybird0312 the cutscene is like 15 seconds. You can’t wait 15 seconds in a game without complaining? That’s what impatience is bucko

Yeah I like the Armstrong cockpit but that metal bar in middle of window needs to be higher
