You can really see that James Dean really had Complete Adoration for Marlon Brando. If only James Dean could come back today he'd be Stunned to see that He Literally changed a Society & is Still SO Very Relevant to this day & LOVED by so Many People. Gone way too soon 💔💔. RIP James Dean 🙏🙏
"I have a speech, and it has the flotsam that you people expect to hear. But that's not fair, no, that's not fair at all. I am here for all of you, and it's only fair that you speak for yourselves. My words shouldn't be louder than yours. So I've brought many other guests to speak. They're just people like you and I. In the same time that many other presidents have spoken by themselves, America will speak! Thank you." - James Dean, 1969
James Dean was ahead of every thing, only Clift, Brando, and Holden Caulfied precede him, and barely. All things chill ever after flow from Dean, flat out, if the river of cool is examined closely. Dean was the confluence, and then the stream, straight and true, even when dammed. And his influence continues to flow today.
This is very interesting that towards the end the gentleman with Jimmie mentions that he must be tired because it's almost 4AM. Jimmie says he's alright but the gentleman says he has an early call the next day. Holy cow...4AM and he has to be up early to work on the picture. I guess it's true what they say that Jimmie Dean did have insomnia.
I have an original 45 Limited Collectors Edition for sale on eBay, search James Dean on Conga should find it. Thanks for putting the recording up here. It's great to hear it.
the first track sounds so modern. If you recorded it in studio with today's technology, it would sound like something from a rap song. Kind of something that I would see Kendrick Lamar using...
a record label named CLEOPATRA made a 'limited edition 10 inch picture disc" with this stuff and then there was...well for more surprises and info look up on DISCOGS!!!

lol its a fact jimmy even admitted it and the whole hollywood know about it and even told stories about jimmy stalking him it’s kinda weird but who can blame him brando is insanely talented and handsome. Everyone was obsessed with brando he changed acting forever
Not only was Jimmy a great actor, but he painted, sculpted and played the conga drums - he was an extremely gifted person. I absolutely adore him·
I'm 72 and have been in love with James Dean forever. He sure was a man of many talents.
James Dean was so artistic .his music. His sculptures .his painting .his acting .
Great hearing these again reminds me of my time spent on the farm in Fairmount in 83 , brilliant
If anyone's wondering, both of these songs are on iTunes! :D

You can hear him saying "ha" along with the beat from 2:01 - 2:13
Thanks for the post! Joshua Dean (James Deans 2nd cousin) also a drummer. 😎
I wonder how these recordings made their way into public domain?!
I used to have this on a cassette in the 1970's. I've no idea how it reached us public though.

This reminded me of Lorde songs. She has this signature drum beats that are similar to Jimmy's drumming.
