Why can't whoever is involved with this to put aside whatever and give us new Friday the 13th? Before it's over all new Friday the 13th projects will most likely be canceled....I really hope not but I can't help feeling this way cause everytime a new Friday the 13th project is in the works something goes wrong.
We are going to get a new Jason movie but it won’t be Friday the 13th. Cunningham can do a straight jason movie but he would need paramount and Victor miller to do a full on Friday the 13th movie to many people own different parts of the franchise

10 million per episode seems way too much for a show about a character and series that doesn’t seem too mainstream anymore. Sure it has its fans but enough to justify that much? The horror genre is struggling at the box office these days with many movies not even reaching 50 million. Good movies at that. A24 would be smart to half that budget. Then the series might stand a chance of success.
They need to forfeit the rights to womp stomp productions and let them take control of the IP they already proved they can create excellent stories and gruesome brutality that Jason or a Friday the 13th movie series demands.

I like what Bryan Fuller makes BUT every project he works on has lots of drama behind the scenes with over budgeting and casting issues.
