I remember this song from the radio in my living room and probably also from television on the second floor. Maybe I even saw the music video somewhere on MTV. I didn't speak English at that time yet, but I've been remembering and humming it for the last 16 years. Now I just downloaded a program searching for songs by humming and found it after the second attempt. I was quite sure it was "Warwick Avenue", as I remember the "u" in the song. It's been a long time since I last heard it on the radio. I didn't know that the singer was so beautiful. I just learned how terribly she was hurt. It hurts me. It made me cry. My dear girlfriend had a similar experience when she was a child. I feel her pain. I hope the singer recovers. I hope she keeps singing, happily and beautifully, without tears this time. God bless

This song is quite misleading. The bus doesn't actually go to Warwick Avenue, it's shut off at the cenotaph. There's a contraflow down Leeds Road at the moment so my advice is to get the 47 to the terminus on Laidlaw roundabout and take a taxi back to the Jolly Sailor on Lanehouse Road. It's straight opposite you then.
