I was thinking the same thing; it looked like you could potentially roll backwards into mount, or just tip him over to the side if you're not feeling as fancy. Not a bad technique by any means, but perhaps one with unexplored potential.
This is the basic technique. Once you have trained this then you can go on to use that same movement so sweep your opponent, take his back, defend against submission attacks, etc.

If you've gone to the trouble to lift him that far up, why not just sweep and take top position rather than remaining in guard?
