You are so respectful of the family's belongings. You don't damage anything and you get upset by people damaging the property. Keep up your great work.
A lot of times when remediation isn't finished is cuz the insurance company won't pay enough to complete the whole restoration. Not keen on the tile floors everywhere. Love the bathroom vanities. I'm getting a French renaissance vibe from this house. That view from the dining area is gorgeous. Another great find Ethan.
Ethan i really appreciate how much you keep your viewers in videos ❤i started watching two other guy's and loved their videos but rarely see Many anymore.. Great House 🏠 btw
Love that style home. It’s like the Freeling’s home in Poltergeist from 1982. Well the exterior anyway.Beautiful place. Love that wood trim inside too! Love the fireplace and those built ins. I’d fill those shelves with all my Star Wars collection.
My parents house 🏠 had those thick block glass through out the house 🏠 Very awesome house Ethan ,thank yy for taking all us along with you on this house adventure ❤
Love this house Ethan ❤....Nice size ,not keen on all those doors .. lots of natural light ,.outside by the pool stunning ...thanks for sharing ...stay safe well and happy 💋
Love Tudor style homes, bay windows, and the kitchen despite it not being large, looked functional and cozy. Very nice. I enjoyed this one. Until the next!
What a unique house combining a few different styles. Tudor on the outside with a modern vibe inside and a classic style in some areas like inside the loft which was a cool space with all the built ins. The stairs were half modern and half classic. The little walkway at the top didn’t seem the sturdiest. The room with the gorgeous brick fireplace and the beams my favorite. The long room with all the windows had amazing views of the water which are mesmerizing to me. The bedrooms would have been better and a bit warmer looking with wood but maybe it’s not great to have the wood lakeside I don’t know. The kitchen very nicely done and timeless. A shame the basement flooded. Those walls were weird with the strange markings that looked like they came from a huge soaker gun filled with who knows what. The setting is best of all. I wonder do people live year round lakeside or is it more of a vacation area. Thank you Ethan for sharing this fascinating location! Take care of yourself be well and always stay safe! Sorry if my comments are too long but I’ve always had a fascination with houses and styles and the way they’ve varied over the years.
This is a very nice quality built home. I love all the windows and natural light, and the finishes are beautiful! They did a really nice job of creating that warm feeling with the smaller sized kitchen. I agree that the tile in a bedroom is not a warm or inviting feeling . The pool and property is really beautiful! ✌️
Another Brilliant explore Ethan I’m totally with you about tiles in the bedrooms Although the rest of the home is a bit out there but love it all the same Love the respect you give to each place you visit All the best with your future adventures
Mind blowing living room with the wood/windows and vaulted ceiling- I was in heaven right there. And aren’t glass blocks the coolest feature ever? Great explore fella
When you look into cabinets you can better tell the quality......Tile through is dif but maybe for the climate and location it fits? I also prefer warm flooring.....wood especially! Nice kitchen; easy to work in with no wasted space.....
Loved the house a few to many entrance doors for my taste but it looks like that first part and the main house were separate at first and later joined by the middle foyer area.
We had tiles, ceramics, throughout our new home, an earthberm. I am in a wheelchair and they were excellent for that. Also, we put 10 by 12 rugs in the bedrooms. They were beautiful and decorative, so there was the warm feeling. I found the tiles were great for people with allergies, and so eady to clean with those swift cleaning pads on handles😅
I am in the tile business. Natural Limestone tiles throughout the ground floor is simply stunning. They do need sealing twice a year though. But I guess it's worth it.
The windows for the room upstairs in the beginning of video, I would call it English cause the other type is French. The design reminds me of a type of England 14th-15th Century Style or like!?! Keep up the Channel.
Beautiful house. Built before builders went with cheapest materials and cut corners on everything. Offset sink in upstairs counter/cabinet made for double sinks. Id fall down the basement stairs being that close to the entryway, love the stairs though. Multiple doors keep cold out. I am in love with the back yard. Basement flooding may have cause structure instability.
The kitchen WAS a decent size to me ! And this house is ABSOLUTELY WORTH SAVING including fixing the mold problem in the basement….. SHAMEFUL if it’s to eventually demolished
I’d like to see a pole taken on how many viewers appreciate that ( what’s up guys ) mantra anytime you see a mirror AND NOW A REFLECTION 😡 to me it’s as. Irritating as scraping nails across a chalkboard …
Ethan really liked this house , but I’m like you it needs some wood floors maybe some carpet to make it warm and cozy. I really liked the kitchen not too big it was a nice size. The basement was a waste really. Not usable really and they smell in my opinion. Wearing my favorite jacket !
I am seeing a possibility that the house was originally built in the 1970s with a separate garage. Then in the 80s they added that glass area and connected the garage to the main house. Then the updated other rooms, like the kitchen more recently. Of course, basement flooded at some point and the rest is history.
Kitchen is perfect have everything u need in for few ppl its not one of those oversized with massive kitchen island table dat feal hotel like in home ...
It's indeed a building with an odd floor plan. Why a such a short corridor with so many doors? It lacks common sense, as warm or fresh air needs proper distribution from the adjoigning rooms. It's just a waste of ressource to have them all. 4:35 That also, is architecture with lack of foresight. When you assemble the panels of a sun parlor, you want to avoid a crenellated form like this. Not only it looks off esthetically, but it represents unnecessary extra spots to maintain. These sharp corners are the most vulnerable parts to hazards as storms, due to them resisting as several standalone blocks. A good sun parlor structure breaks the wind appropriately as a regular polygonal mass. 7:16 I call them Medieval Disney doors, haha. I think they fit best with Tuscan or Mediterranean revival styles. To be honest, this rusticity is more in tune for an entrance than for indoors. Otherwise, it looks too jarring in opposition with the modern features. Aside from my esthetic recriminations, I agree it's the nicest room to be in. I would sit there as the end visit hangout spot. Ethan, if I were your exploration companion, I'd defy you to a party of royal game of Ur and determine who gets free snacks next. 18:38 I like to hear what your mind's eye envisions, that's the way, dear friend. I think you're right. This tileset is better suited for a living room, kitchen or bathroom. Imagine this as your bedroom. Your naked feet land in the cold floor as you grope around to fit your slippers, when you stand up from bed. It's not pleasant for a house with cold winters. This lakefront mansion doesn't exactly amaze me. You can sure do way better if you have 10 millions to spend. Money must be spent wisely on more cost efficient structures.
You are so respectful of the family's belongings. You don't damage anything and you get upset by people damaging the property. Keep up your great work.
Hi Ethan! You Do A Great Job, Love your Videos! You are very respectful and considerate of people's abandoned houses. Thank you for everything you do!

Bummer about the mold. This house is toast. Too bad, it's a real nice one. Very interesting staircase, that's different. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hello Ethan
What an awesome home!
So the master bedroom would be the one upstairs? Crazy
That's a really neat house. Ethan you do an amazing job as usual with your videos. Very informative and get to see everything. Your an awesome guy
Ethan I agree bout the tiles in bdrms, makes um feel cold🥶
Ethan, I always love your OCD and sensitivities. I loved the kitchen. The spills on the walls?!
Very nice mansion Ethan 😊
Tudor revival was super popular in the late seventies. I grew up in a house that was Tudor revival style until it got renovated
Mind blowing living room with the wood/windows and vaulted ceiling- I was in heaven right there. And aren’t glass blocks the coolest feature ever? Great explore fella
Very nice home such a shame whatever happened to the walls upstairs. Really enjoyed this one. Loved the kitchen
Thank you😊
Really nice house. Thanks for your hard work Ethan.
Thank you Ethan for another amazing video ❤️Thumbs up on the video 👍What a great find 😎
Thanks😊
It needs someone to bring this house back to life. She is worth it and much much more .Thanks for finding her.

The tile in that large room with the view to the pool is laid in the Versailles pattern
Nice place Ethan. The statue is creepy.
I would keep the vanities counter and mirror out of that house if they are demolishing it
Awesome 👍🏾 amazing 😍
i think the loft may actually have been the parents bdrm..this is a great home!

Thank you for the explore :)
Hi do you ever come across any Victorian houses? Those are my favorite style houses. Have a good weekend.
Love this house! totally agree with the tile in the bedrooms though! x 😊
I am in the tile business. Natural Limestone tiles throughout the ground floor is simply stunning. They do need sealing twice a year though. But I guess it's worth it.

1:13 omg I would die(not literally just joking lol) if a spider came towards me from the peek hole😭😂
Dang! I could live in the upstairs loft alone lol
Once was a nice home Liked this one

It looks 70's to me too. I'm 63 so I was there.
This house was adoorable,🤪ok I will see myself out now.....😊
Best intro ever!
The opening of this video was adoorable
Cool house!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Wow I would love to live in this house ❤
Smaller than i thought it would be. Loft nice!
I love your videos ❤
I hate spiders too Ethan got bit by a black jumping spider one time had to go to the ER
What year was it built?
78
Hey Dude...
Another 80's it kills me,My Era
This house is one of the nicer homes you've shown. It would look nicer if it were cleaner but it's still a nice place!
Only problem for me is the baseboard ELECTRIC HEATING SYSTEM
Oh I DO agree with YOUR COMMENT about the tile in the bedroom
It’s a VERY NICE PROPERTY but I don’t see a TEN MILLION DOLLAR PROPERTY
The sink wasn't centered because of the slooping ceiling. Love the house soo much. Never seen large glass blocks.
This is gorgeous 🥰
Ethan really liked this house , but I’m like you it needs some wood floors maybe some carpet to make it warm and cozy. I really liked the kitchen not too big it was a nice size. The basement was a waste really. Not usable really and they smell in my opinion. Wearing my favorite jacket !
That sink on the side gives you more counter space
I am seeing a possibility that the house was originally built in the 1970s with a separate garage. Then in the 80s they added that glass area and connected the garage to the main house. Then the updated other rooms, like the kitchen more recently. Of course, basement flooded at some point and the rest is history.
Totally agree, that is exactly what I was thinking too about connecting the house and garage.
The house had a lot of great features It is always sad when it starts to get rundwon looking and moldy
The inside and outside don’t really match. In fact it all seems mismatched. But the pool and yard are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
You actually remind me of my son
Does it have Electric Heat or Hot Water Heat ? Could not tell. It was a very nice Home at one time.
Was that two bedrooms? Did I miss something?😂
Cool place. ❤
Like the pool.
I think those are called lattice windows.
Or maybe mullioned windows.
The bathroom that had the sink offset ..I think that if it was centered one would bag head when using sink because of the slanted celling
Kitchen is perfect have everything u need in for few ppl its not one of those oversized with massive kitchen island table dat feal hotel like in home ...
The base board heat is made from cast iron, Big bucks again. Seems like they where top of the line everything
Cool, wish it was saved. 😀
I didn't like the area you started out with but the rest of the house was cool!
Anthony. Have fun Day 😅
I love the Atrium ❤
Ethan it's a pretty nice house❤
I also hate spiders too because when I touch like there web I immediately pull my hand back and sometimes I scream.
Just so you are aware Ethan, HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. What you called an HVAC is a Central Vac/Vacuum.
what happened to outside?
huh?
Do you and the explorers hang out?
The kitchen works! Size doesn’t necessarily mean a functional kitchen. And … most folks will still congregate there (until you toss them out 😆).
Hi Ethan❤
Hello Ethan!
I've seen windows 🪟 like that in the country, along with hatched roof.
Pretty neat house.
I like it..😁

DWasher was a Bosch, top of the line shit.
The sink wasn't centered because of the slooping ceiling.
He never has enough light.
it was broad daylight and the house had power why would i bring extra light…
I would luv to hear the doorbell when power is on ....weird I know
Think ur correct about the age. He you were right about the year, Youare a pro at this stuff, dude, speak to Me I wanna help ya out. Love your ocd LOL
