One of the most beautiful and spectacular via ferratas in Switzerland, is the one from Kandersteg to Allmenalp.
From the train station in Kandersteg, a hiking trail leads to the entry point of the via ferrata. Afterward, a vertical wall with various thundering waterfalls, three-rope bridges and a tyrolienne leads to Allmenalp. In the middle part, you can choose between two different routes (red or blue). On the Allmenalp there is a nice mountain restaurant where you can have a good meal. A small cable car or various hiking trails lead down.
Height difference: 550m (via ferrata 370m)
Duration: approx. 2-3 hours
Level of difficulty: red K4, blue K5
Suitable for beginners? Yes and No. With good physical condition and some climbing experience (e.g. rope parks, bouldering...) it should be enough. This was my 2nd climb. The first was in the Gantrisch, which is shorter, a bit more unspectacular but about the same difficulty.
No additional equipment is needed for the Tyrolienne.

Superb weather conditions. Brings back memories when i did this via ferrata 4 years ago in 2017. Probably my favourite via ferrata. What camera did you use to record this ? GoPro head mount on the helmet ?
It is also my favorite ;) "Dij osmo action" and I had it mounted on my chest. In few weeks I will upload a video of the Via Ferrata in Mürren, where I mounted the cam on the helmet.

concerning the difficulty, I had done only K3+ yet and since I'm only 1,66m tall I had some issues at some spots where the irons were far apart. Would this via ferrate be doable?
It depends on your physical an psychological condition. A friend of mine is not taller and made it. You need more strength to do it then a K3.
Last time I went there, some people came back down bevor the first ladder. So give it a try when you liked via ferrata so far.
