Carefully, very carefully. More precisely with several levers and plastic trim tools slowing pushing it off. Would be easier to just buy a new fan and break that one off.
@@irish-simon Ah, ok. That actually makes sense especially since the bearings will be heating up. I wonder how much they actually heat up since they are shielded from a lot of the heat behind the plastic combustion chamber fan wheel. Would the extra clearance cause them to be noisier if the heat expansion didn't close the gap?
Well I don’t know the exact number on these things, but if there is enough space to add ball bearings into the casing, it’s short. Every high end bearing case I’ve ever disassembled(skateboard, bicycle, wheelchair, motorcycle) has had enough bearings to fill the entire void. The all have slack in the case, but all had enough balls that you couldn’t fit another into the casing. I have ran across cheap bearings that were missing a ball or two, they were all crap.
David McLuckie if you have high revolution bearings that are the same size, with differing numbers of actual balls inside, or not enough balls, it’s going to cause a vibrational problem.
Why would you go through all the trouble to replace bearing when you can order the entire motoer assemble c/ bearings and housing for like $40 ?? I did. Repair time is like 15 mins.

@@DavidMcLuckie thank you god bless
Hello David. My heater is still driving me mad. I got the 5kw one. Are the bearings the same size? I will order them today if that is the case.
I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had to go that deep into a 5KW (yet). I think the motor is the same between the two sizes of heater as I only see a listing for one motor but 12V or 24V.
@@DavidMcLuckie Thank you very much for the response. What you say makes perfect sense, it so obvious when you say it.
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
@@sprinterlex2082 did you try to fix the 5kw bearings? Were they the same size? My 5kw is making all kinds of noise 🥴
@@lexsarrasin713 Bump! I'm curious too!
so much better
How many hrs did you run the heater before the bearings went to shits?
They were fucked from the factory.
Have the same diesel noise, dodgy bearings and not willing to start, cheap as chips 🙈😆
Hi how did you get the fans of the sharft?
They are a press fit. I very carefully prised them off.
@@DavidMcLuckie just tried and broke in to bits lol
Ahh. Thankfully spares are available.
And id put heater in some sort of sound deadening box
You have the product nr or something I can search for to get those bearings. Need this! 😁
These are the ones I bought - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bearing-625-ZZ-625zz-625Z-625z-dimension-5x16x5-EZO-JAPAN-fast-free-shipping/273795220952?hash=item3fbf7785d8:g:-OIAAOSwux5YPr0O
I am curious how you removed the internal fan without breaking it.
Carefully, very carefully. More precisely with several levers and plastic trim tools slowing pushing it off. Would be easier to just buy a new fan and break that one off.
@@DavidMcLuckie hi Nate where can I buy the fan turbine from
you should use 625z c3
Why?
@@daan3298 C3 stands for extra clearance very good for motors and the like lasts longer than the normal 625zz
@@irish-simon What part of the bearing has extra clearance? Can you explain this better please?
The balls in the bearing are small to allow for the metal expansion while running
Way better id wrap it in thin foam tape as a damper aswell
Could you plese tell me marking and dimension of bearing? THX :-)
16x5x5mm. 625Z is the marking on them.
Is it possible to tune the 5kw to be 2kw?
Probably close to that.
I think the motor needs a proper balance and that could be your problem!!
It was the bearings. Old ones were notchy in places. The new EZO ones cured it.
Job well job'ed
Much Quieter 👍👍
£5 each. I have a bog full of them in my shed,, Lol
No, I have a job lot from Rolls Royce from when they shut down, One cannot get better
Use a Brushless motor ,this type the coil isn't balanced, mystery has been answered 😁😏
The Chinese skip out on parts, I’d bet a dollar to a donut there are less ball bearings in that bearing housing than normal.
How many should there be in a 625Z?
Get some Motor Kote and put a couple drops on them ,it’s amazing stuff. motorkote .com
Why would you go through all the trouble to replace bearing when you can order the entire motoer assemble c/ bearings and housing for like $40 ?? I did. Repair time is like 15 mins.
Because no one else has. I like to play.
@@DavidMcLuckie…. great answer! The real value in doing it is that in 5 or 10 years you may not be able to get these replacement parts and bearing swaps may be the only option. Everything we buy eventually gets to an age where replacing parts isn’t possible..
Does anyone know were i can get set brushes for 8 kw motor FULI 12v 202210130016 please let me know Amazon sending me complete motor gaskets and mounting gasket when ever it gets to me around xmas time its been ordered week ago.
I haven't seen any brushes for the motors. But complete motors are available.
