- Monroe Peak and Trail 89 ! This is Part 6 of our Fall trip to Marysvale UT to Ride the Paiute Trail. We brought two Can Am Maverick Trails on this trip, and meet up with several others on our 12 day Paiute Trail Trip for 2021. This is part 6, stay tuned for several days of riding the Paiute still to come.
Can't beat the fall colors and views atop Monroe.

Good job once again. I really enjoy your work!
Thank You !
Love your videos.
Thank You !
Great video series. I've really wanted to get a good look at system of real trails.
Thanks ! Still a few more parts in the series yet to come. Stay tuned. 👍
Home sweet home. I love your content. I grew up on all these roads and trails. Have a story about every one of them. Thanks you guys.
You live in an amazing area for sure. 👍
89 must be a magical trail number, trail 89 in the Black Hills of South Dakota is an awesome trail as well. We've been thinking about heading out that way but we have a Can Am Maverick Sport so 60" wide machine. Surely there are trails for us Sport owners right? :-) Loved the video, beautiful scenery once again.
Thank You ! Well over 90% of the trails on the Paiute are 60 inch and up, so literally thousands of miles there for you to explore 👍
Great video love watching you get out on the trails, looks like you all made it through the 50” gate with your Maverick Trails, I’m thinking of maybe getting my new tires this year on the stock wheels I’ve emailed you a couple of times I have a 2021 Maverick Trail DPS 1000 triple Black I live up in Northern Idaho by Coeur d’Alene you’ve always been gracious and get back when I ask you questions ( thank you) anyway I think I seen your son AKA JR on another video change his tires to the Tusk TERRABITE Medium/Hard Terrain DOT UTV/ATV Radial
8-Ply Tire- 27x9-12 you’re really the only TH-cam channel that explains about this tire for the stock wheel, so your vehicle can still remain the 50 inches that it needs to get through the gates which most people don’t understand when they put aftermarket wheels and spacers they’re basically defeating the purpose of their 50” UTV my question is are you still running these tires and how are they holding up most likely this will be the tire that I will get for my Maverick Trail thank you. Sorry for long comment 😂👍🏻
Jr has the same tires as me. The 8 ply Terrabites in 27x9-12 on stock wheels. It’s been a great combo for me and for the price I really think ya can’t go wrong. Mine have just a few miles short of 5,000 miles on them now and they’re about done. Still some tread left, but they wouldn’t last me another season. One of them has a very slow leak ( been like that for years now ) but honestly very happy with them. I will most likely be buying another set this Spring.
Maybe you can do another review in the spring if you decide to replace those tires for example; where you purchased them, did you order them on line and had them shipped to your house, where did you have them installed, do you have the wheels balanced for vibration, or maybe it’s not necessary, and what your tire tread looks like after 5,000 miles, also when JR put the new tires on, for Curiosity sake, what did he do with the stock tires, did he try and sell them, or maybe hard to sell, or no one wants to buy them so, maybe he was stuck with them?? Thanks again
I have been looking forward to this video. I figured this would be the trail combo you would do. Have you ever gone down the 65? I stay in Monroe and was thinking of going do the same route but instead of going down the 02 back tracking on the 01 to the 65 to return to Monroe.
We've never gone down it, but I don't think it would be that bad. If we are going that way we just go down the 78. Maybe up the 65 and down the 78 👍
Where did you get that cool rear rack on your Mav?!
Have a buddy with a can am maverick , gonna put a winch in it FIERYRED winch and the compare it against my badlands winch . She which brand is bette . Those vids to come soon on my station
How tight were the gates on trail 65? Any off camber areas
Nothing major as far as off camber. A little leaning, but really not bad at all. It’s really an easy trail, it’s just long and uphill the whole way. I just tell everyone put it on low and 4wd and sit back and cruise up. I’d give it maybe a 7 out of 10 for difficulty. The bottom gate is one of the newer ones. I’d guess they’re close to about 53 inches. I have plenty of wiggle room, but Dan ( he’s about an inch wider than me ) has way less wiggle room, but his machine still fits.
Thanks for the answer. We will try next year.
Hey guys, what park did you camp at. When we went, we stayed at south 40.
We stay at Pine Creek Cabins. It's a small place. 3 RV sites and 6 cabins.
@@MyATVlife thanks. Didn’t know that place was there. Not sure where y’all will be in June/July, but we’ll be in Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah.
We'll be up in Washington early June then down in Utah late June 👍
