thanks a bunch!! i actually didnt have enough engineer monkey xp to get the 5 or even the 4th upgrade in the middle path, once i realized that i thought i couldnt do it, but turns out everything still worked fine and i was still able to complete the challenge (to make up for lack of 0-5-0 engineer monkey, i maxed out middle path in the monkey village and activated it's ability on round 100 for the extra attack speed)
Something I realized when following if you greed and keep Ben until right before bloon master you can get set up a few rounds before he does in the video. Now this helps if you are also working on getting the Bloon Master Populous achievement.
Worked! Thanks! used a 0-3-2 mage instead of the ship to get even more pops early on, finished 1 million dmg around round 90~ / sold the mage once i got the 0-2-5 Ice dude
I think its not a bug. The hidden achievment itself is "get 100M damage *before* round 100", so if the player does get 100M damage in round 96 or so, no need to play the rest of the round.Me my self got the achievment on round 96.
I'm new and I didn't have the overclock on engineer, my village is max at 2 3 0, no tier 5 bucaneer, no submarine ability, a really weak ice monkey, no benjamin and it still worked.. thank you
I saw the exclamation on the new acheivement and when I cliched on it it said "IVIGORATION: HAVE 75 BUFFS ACTIVE ON YOUR MONKEYS AT ONCE". That was it, nothing else

Ok, so took two runs to do it because I sold the alchemist after wave 101 to fail it the first time. Went back home through menu second time and got it, thanks!
for those who dont ged he achievement: just get 900k+ with the alc and go to menu(works this way to me) i think the game only counts the pops when you go to menu tell me if this works for you
I recommend you check how many pops your alchemist has in later rounds because I got around 1,000,000 pops around round 95 and you only need 900,000+ pops. So if you exceed 900,000 pops on the alchemist, then just leave the game.
Same issue here. The only thing I did not do, is exit after reaching the required pops. I kept playing through round 175ish when I lost the game (there's another achievement for 1 billion pops by the alchemist so I figured why not grind for that one too). Not sure if that matters, but that's the only thing I did differently from the video. :(
Tier 4&5 village and engineer abilities stack. I stacked homeland defense, call to arms, overclock, and ultraboost and got around 1.5 million pops by round 100
I screenshotted my alchemist at 1034451 pops on round 99 but I didn't get the achievement, the only thing I did different from your guide was not use an engender cause I didn't have the ability unlocked but I still got the pops and even beat round 100(I had small monkey towers enabled)
I love an appreciate this guide but I wish you would have shown the upgrades as well instead of just stating 2-2-0 or 0-2-0 or whatever, it starts to become a bit overwhelming/confusing :(
why the perma brew? its only perma-brewing the buccaneer, is that the point? since alc cant perma brew another alc. plz explain anyone. I don't see a need for boosting the buc, considering you want damage from the alc? sorry for bad grammar
No problem. A 4-0-1 Alch would probably be fine, I just went with permabrew so the Buc could easily clean up everything that the Bloon Master Alchemist doesn't pop.
I beat round 100 had 1 mil pops didn't start round 101 left and never got the acheivment. Where did I go wrong 😂😂 Still a great guide though good job :D
I like this guide, but It Will be better if you do more guides without doble cash, because I can't pass the challenge only with 4 farms, without seiling anyone, an un the end I only can pass it if I put a perma spike with a 4-2-0 alchemist and a 0-4-0 village.
after I got the ice tower and the glue gunner I sold the ship to let the alch get more pops and completed it on round 96, btw this guide still works as of version 30.1.5016
His trojan horse ability takes damage away from the potential of other towers, this is especially bad when combined with the alchemist which gets most of his damage from moab class bloons. I used him for early cash generation, thanks for the question!
Had over 1 million pops part way through round 98 so probably had the achieve in the bag on round 97 and also only had the 024 glue gunner (not enough exp to get 025). Also meant that I didn't need the sub but I'd bought it anyways. Lucky me I guess?

Its not a bug. Its a change I think. You have to be on MEDIUM or hard difficulty now instead

You need to get more than a mil pops and *THEN* beat round 100 (also don’t go any farther than round 100 because then the game wouldn’t count it)

I used a different taktic by just using Villages 0-5-0 village and 0-4-0 villages and got WAYYYYY past 900000 pops and didn’t get the achievement!
Why did we have to sell benjamin?
