I agree i've spent the last few days reading about the caucasus and watching videos about it and even in the extraordinary culture of the caucasus this kind of singing truly stands out.
Wonderfull, the harmonie, but also to see the entousiastme and passion. Thank for looking in your singing kitchen. I hope that I somwhere in my live visit the land and meet the Georgian people. And than I will sing whit you, your songs, that I have adopted to sing and enjoy. Thanks for this fragment, and indeed some partures, may tightly be softend :-) So let the handmoves see, to dim....... But whwn someone want to be heard, than flow the voice....so let it flow, its beautifull !
Absolutely incredible, it's a crime that Georgian singing like this isn't known throughout the world. I also wonder if the Beach Boys didn't spend some time in an Orthodox Monastery.
Georgians ! You are a great nation and we the Slovak ortodox brothers do support Georgia on it s own way to the prosperity. People of The Czechoslovakia were manipulated by USSR for the years. Now we live in our own state. Keep fighting for your independence. Would love to visit Georgia !
actually i saw an interview where beachboys were asked how they sang like that. they said they took some examples from a place in soviet union that sings like that. Im sure u can guess the rest.
