I've noticed on several Psych Hub videos that it's hard to hear the narration because the music is so loud.

Well, I guess if you take Tramadol, Valium, Alcohol, you smoke, you gamble,... there is no more hope. I even tried Ibogaine, I reduced or stopped by myself (after all I am not stupid) - but after 45 years like this I can only say - no way out. I have to live with it the best I can. Point. It made me lonely, sad and suicidal. Sad - but true. No hospital will treat me (or better; can treat me). I guess having survived that long taught me some lessons. Most important - try to keep the level(s) low. I am a dependent prone person - nothing can change that.

So this is a more broad term, covering all substance addictions.
I thought it was more about being addicted to being under the influence, regardless of the substance. Like anything but sobriety.
    Nobody talks about that.

Even less people talk about the causes and solutions cuz I'm looking everywhere only for something that doesn't talk about liking the high or more common reasons why people turn to drugs cuz I'm only addicted to one hard drug and I don't even really like the high and I'm not dependent physically or emotionally on it so Idk if it's not common but addiction is still one of the most complex but never talked about disorders that also has one if not the highest death count associated with a mental disorder

The great irony is when we try something different for results it also limits our abilities when morals are weighed in. Why does anyone do anything and how is a choice someone makes allow someone to intervene who was distant? I think it is about sources and not leadership. If it was about leadership the one actually doing something on their own recognizance should be looked at with the right lens and not by perceptions of what is right and wrong. But then again -- sometimes you are not expecting what is coming at you?

Quitting drugs is like watching 480p videos on a 4k screen. It' kind of funny for a while, but eventually the joke gets old.
There's a reason you take them.
If there had been anything else capable of filling the hole, you wouldn't have tried them in the first place, right ?
