Looking back at this, it makes even more sense now. Reading or looking at the “4th Wah”, seeing “Ina’s back” would be the part that makes sense. And when they realized Ina’s back (i.e. Ina’s return to the HoloHouse), they skedaddle.
I was surprised the Takos didn't scatter the first time Watame walked near using Subaru. I always use Ina in HoloHouse, so I thought they always ran when someone saw them.
The largest irony is that the actual Ina did not approach them Takodachi as herself, just “watching them in secret” as she “threatens” them with no cookies and then goes about her day. 😂

It is actually the first time I also seen this animation. Ina did not seen it from the first time she visit them.
It's an evolved self defense mechanism. The ones that couldn't do this ended up as umbrellas, tea cups, drinks coasters, etc...
