These antennas are the real deal. I do exactly as Mike demonstrates and typically go from 0-1 bars to 2-3 bars no problem.

Happy thanksgiving. Yeah that should work in the direction the tower is in if there’s no concrete obstruction. Also if you notice , some nights you’ll get way more pictures of smaller animals or birds. Usually tropospheric ducting is taking place. Generally when it’s foggy out.

@JayN4GO happy Thanksgiving to you. Thanks for watching. The main point of this video was because I have some customers, despite our detailed setup instructions included with the antenna, who just stick it up in the air and expect it to work without spending time to aim it correctly.

I made these style (Yagi) antennas for years. Only way to go if in a fringe area. But you need to know where the cell towers are. There are web sites on the internet that will tell you their locations and will show satellite views.

@jacksprat7087 Correct these work really well. I sell more than 1000 per year because they do. These actuality aren't traditional yagi. These are a log periodic antenna, which has a wider bandwidth. With so many towers in some areas I find that the obvious tower isn't always the one the camera chooses. It can take lots of attempts to find the correct tower, then there is the terrain issue. In some parts of the country, terrain can affect where the signal comes from and which direction is best to aim the antenna.
