Since you mentioned Butterspy, I'd like to see some more Bounzer cards. I had a blast playing a mix of Butterspy/Bounzer at a locals when they first released, and I actually got 2nd, only losing to a Chaos-Monarch deck. Would be cool to see both decks fleshed out.
0:38 The reason I personally don't mind Vector's redemption is specifically because of how Don Thousand explained what corrupting him entailed: all he had to do was make Vector *think* he was evil, and Vector did everything else on his own.
In that nature, you can argue that, even with his past revealed... well, he's already gone too far to stop, much like Shark. He can't just turn over a new leaf and surrender. Probably why he let himself get absorbed by Don Thousand at the end rather than drag Yuma with him: Unlike Shark, Yuma would never give up on him. In that instance, maybe in his new support, he'd get a key card to represent Yuma?

Honestly I think Dumon and his Star Seraph cards needs some more support and a new XYZ for them and support for Marine and her Ragnafinity needs support around her number.
Good news for Dennis, Trapeze High Magician is a cover card for this year’s Animation Chronicle set, so hopefully his pendulum monsters make it too. As for characters, I wish they made more of Olga’s Glacier Beasts. I liked their aesthetic and wish it could develop further.
I agree with Olga's cards! So many more snow/ice/cold animals they could turn into cards: polar bear, snowy owl, reindeer, arctic hare, arctic fox, seals, snow leopard, etc.! Please Konami, make this happen! 🤞
For Syrus, they have a really easy way to separate his roid monsters from the Speedroids, just use their already established Vehicroid term. I know they do a lot of that sort of thing with the various Hero monsters (Elemental Heroes, Destiny Heroes, Masked Heroes, etc.) just having most cards that work with them just be "Hero" instead of specifically "Elemental Hero" or whatever, but they also do separate them out into their various groupings as well, so it would be easy to do the same and just separate out the Vehicroids from the Speedroids and such. Basically instead of having to specify "works with a non-wind machine "roid" monster" it could just change the wording to be "works only with Vehicroid monsters" or "can't be used with Speedroid monsters" or whatever. That way when and if they ever do retrains or support for Syrus it could just be for Vehicroids.
Since there's a new booster called Rage of Abyss i wonder if we got Rio Kamishiro / Rio Kastle / Marin's deck, since the "Blizzard" Archetype was the first Water winged beast, and based on her decks its focused on burn and attack modification. It''ll be cool to see it.

For Luna/Ruka I could see her deck be called Spirit world because that's where some of the monsters in her deck live and she had been their more than once and their monsters could be Spirit world version of the monsters she played. 3:00 - 4:03 It should be noted that we got the animation chronicles cover and in the cover the Rank 5 Performage is seen so we're at least getting that one,but who knows if all the performages will be in this set.
Blair/Rei at this point in time Konami should consider the Lightsworn player. Its obvious Konami will never print her cards and even if they did, it will have as much fan fare as War Rocks. Konami was the one that gave Blair lightsworn in old ygo game Tag Force 3. No idea why they won't do it, since no one likes Blairs anime cards beyond unfunny memes
For my CPU vs CPU tournaments I gave her the charmers / familliar possessed. My thought process is she first appears when she is a child like the charmers, then she appears a few years later and has grown like thier upgrades, the familliar possessed.
Odion's theme with trap cards needs to be handled with care as trap cards are balanced around being set. Even in early Yu-Gi-Oh activating trap cards the turn they are set leads to FTKs. It would have to allow the activation of in archetype traps not run of the mill. But a good idea if handled well
I would love for all the barian emperors to get a non number xyz monster. Like Shark got his Dark Lancer and Mizar will get Dragluxion and the main deck tachyon. In my headcannon thats just what they would have played, after returning to their human form, at the end of zexal.
The old -roid monsters would honestly just be slightly better by doing a mass errata to make them all be Vehicroid monsters. Either by adding it to their names like "Vehicroid - Truckroid" or something similar to Summoned Skull saying its an Archfiend monster in the in the card text. That way the smaller Vechiroids can flow better and they can possibly do more with the Super Vechiroids

You forgot about Amnael/Professor Banner's anime archetype "Alchemy Beast", it has a lot of potential, especially for Extra Deck monsters, especially Fusion.
I would really like to see some sort of synchro warrior support, that doesn't have anything to do with junk speeder and stardust, like something to do with nitro warrior, road warrior, turbo warrior, etc
I don't know if we still might get more reveals from Duelists of Brilliance, but I'm honestly just baffled that XYZ Unions of all the darn things would get more additions. Seriously, they can just stuff that in any old set, save some room for Arcana Force!
If there’s a character who deserves recognition, it’s Rafael. His Guardian deck had a neat build, especially his play style on keeping his graveyard void of monsters. N yet it’s not possible to replicate that style with current real cards. So cards like Backup Guardna should be made real as it’s vital for a Guardian deck n give us cards in homage to Rafael to give us the monsterless graveyard play style.
I deff could see an "Ancient Forest of Spirits" field spell with retrains like "Ancient King Regulus" or "Komorebi Unicorn" basically just giving her monsters a tie to forests in someway in name and effects that tie to field spells.
Luna could’ve gotten new support along with a new form for Ancient fairy dragon in Duelist of brilliance if two certain hype duelist that used the same union archetype didn’t steal the last spot for the set.
The Vehicroid need like twice more broken support as Battlin boxers to just be playable but it's a shame considering Cyber dragon, Hero, Cyber Angel, Water Dragon, Ancien Gear, Vampire, Sacred Beast and now Yubel's support from GX and still nothing for Vehicroid, a thing like an update structure deck with 2-3 new support in boosters like the Machina whould be great... Or just anything good enough to be at least playable as pure F.A. War Rock or Ghostrick. They need better fusions cards as Shaddoll/Branded fusions that can summon ALL his archetype fusions and... one or two good fusions the last ones require a LOT for nothing most of the time

In short, she DOESNT have an archetype She can have multiple field spells... but it should still be able to work together... which sounds difficult to design since field spells can exist 1 at a time. I was thinking of making the retrain of the AFD to be able to fetch continuous spells, but I feel that's gonna lead to degenerate strats that would lead to its banning... again O.O . Im thinking the deck could be like Aromages where it focuses on life gain and she gets effects when she gains life (i.e searches for an archetype card type when she gains life) and she would have a sort of Mystic Mine effect Vector too.. youre right... he just needs more monsters and searchers... Roids, funny enough, got a good number of support cards recentky. ... but NONE of which puts them on the map. Funny that my favorite Roid card that I actually run with my Cyberdragon Deck is Twin Cycloroid. Paired with Power Bond, 1600 direct attacker is pretty significant For Odeon... I dont think he's coming back... since we have a sort-of similar functioning deck... Eldlich.
what about my love Rafael Guardian Eatos was such an amazing card wheres his love T.T being one of the favorite antagonist in the Waking the Dragons arc and one of the only antagonists to actually beat the pharaoh
I'd like to see some support for Numerons. They really need an in archetype searcher and a way to protect their field spell. It'd be really cool if they had a built in- searchable limit remover and a way to play while controlling cards, at least face downs if nothing else
From the GX series, I really wanna see new support for Cloudian and the Venom archetype! I know the Cloudians have 3 cards from the anime that still need to be printed. So hopefully, we'll see them soon! 🤞
Still waiting for the armor archetype. We are currently getting more Xyz 'support, I feel the most interesting versions haven't been printed from Chazz that should be printed like the Beetle Archetype and Different Dimension Hanger If Syrus should get legecy support, I would love to see Cyberdark Roid Dragon to be a monster.
I was actually hoping the Light booster pack would give new Luna cards simply because Ancient Fairy is literally the only signer dragon that doesn’t have an evolution.
Another character that needs printed support should be Rio Kastle, since all the spell n trap cards in her deck r not printed cards. Plus she should get more water winged-beast monsters for her deck.
I can't think of their names at the moment, but in the Arc V anime i think the main girl and her other world counterparts cards should all be retained so they all work together. Just like Yuma and all his arctypes.
There is already a card called "Kahyoreigetsu" that supports all of their decks, so there is at least some precedent for that. I do think that the archetypes are too well established though at this point to just retrain all of them. You would likely need more cards like Kahyoreigetsu that can bridge the gaps between their decks.
Let’s not forget that the Heraldic archetype’s ace monsters focused on a anti-Xyz playstyle. So means to have the deck to be able to play against any deck should be considered too.
Ruka doesn’t need an archetype. Just more support that show how her Spirits Deck can stand toe to toe with changing times. Also because they limited Ancient Fairy Dragon to 1, she will need a lot of support considering you’ll be working with one ace card unless they lift the restrictions on her.
I'd say the Cyberdarks are okay for now but the Road monsters that work like the A-Z series from the Manga could be fun they have a thing called 'Combination Summon' Armoroid & the 3 Soildroids could do this
I don't get why they can't print a text in Roids that say "a roid monster except an speedroid" instead of "non wind roid" that cut the archtype options in half.
Yeah it's annoying. It's like Konami you know speedroids exist so if you are not going to update the text then stop printing wind roid monsters. They could all just be earth since they are machines
a lot of these characters you and the comments mentioned deserve support, but as for me, I’ma be basic and say Dartz and his Orichalcos deck. All three of the current cards (Seal of Orichalcos, Orichalcos Shunoros, and Divine Serpent Geh) all need retrains, and maybe even their anime effects in the case of Shunoros and Geh, and the rest of the archetype’s cards need to be printed. Maybe even some new or retrains of certain cards to give it more support, but also balance it out, as its a REALLY interesting archetype
i'd love more support for Rio/Marin with her winged beast water type monsters and Dextra and her Butterspy deck since they only release like 4 cards for it and Dumon and his Star Seraph deck but I do agree Luna should get a retrain of her deck working together to form an archtype
I want more Gravekeeper support. Ishizu in DL plays them, and they just need better support. I know Ishizu has her pretty strong retrains, but I would like to see them make a Linknor XYZ pre more fusions or even a ritual for Gravekeepers. They’re so neglected
7:40 - The Djinns aren’t a random thing, he won those from the training mini-arc with Roku. The guy who uses Blade Armor Ninja sought them out and Yuma earned the claim to them beating him in a Numbers hunt duel.

When I think about character not having enough support, I first think to manga character. Chazz, Yusei and Jack need more support. In the anime, I think we need support for luca(we can just add the support in the manga), sartorius, bandit keith, Ai, lightning, windy, vector and don thousand.
Vector could get support for Umbrals and have his Shining cards support them too since he used them in the anime and they never were printed. Also how could people forget Fujiwaras Clear World deck 😢? Only 1 card of that Archetype has been printed and its just been forgotten.
I think all charcters should have at least 7 monsters. So people can build decks around them. Doodlebeasts are a archetype i want expanded on. Crayon art dinosaurs are cool
I agree. But roids all require very bad and trash main decks. They would need a complete rework and thats not happening. Morphtronics whole gimmick is just well...was bad at release...still bad now. And i love them. But they were too slow then, they would be way to slow even if they got broken support.
Ehh you can focused on the new roid cards while aren't amazing are defently still playbel cards, maybe a level 2 fusion for mixer roid gy effect, an easy way to search spells/traps so they can get the field spell or the counter trap. A good search target fir dragon roid and big boss. Mind you all of these cane overlap
The problem for morphtronics is that their gimmick was thougth for the anime where they can normal summon in defense position face up, so Leo always had access to any effect he wanted from them. That didn't translate well to the real game
I feel like vehicroids have the potential for some fun support Just give them some easier access to their fusions and maybe stuff that floats so you can combo it with their field spell
I would love for some T.G. support spells/traps. I don't think they necessarily need a lot of support atm, however, i would highly enjoy them getting support spells/traps that actually have T.G. in the name... They have some nice spells/traps imo but you can't search them with their own searcher because they have weird names that don't specifically have "T.G." in them. It's unfortunate and makes it feel pointless to run their support because you have no way to search them for the niech situations you'd want to actually use them in which results in only the two that can be searched being used most of the time. The searcher for their spells/traps is already a hard once per turn anyways so it doesn't feel like it would be broken to let us have more options.
This might just be my bias for burn decks but I would love if Rin’s Windwitch deck got more spell and trap cards, I run a really fun deck Windwitch and Trickstar burn deck but I do think it would be nice if Windwitches were able to stand more by themselves
I would love to see some more support of my favorite boi Trey. His brother quattro has a lot of extra support so why not give him the same treatment? He's missing 2 cxyz monsters, a link monster and a XYZ version of himself but that's my opinion
I definitely think idion got the shaft when it comes to real cards. I always loved the Ishtar cards, but my favorites were the cards odion used against joey, primarily for the shock value, seeing it as a kid, I still think they're cool cards in general. I even considered putting the mystical beast and temple in my deck just because it's trap heavy and synergies well
They need to make a character builder pack called "FuturesHope" where it's just the younger characters getting new stuff. Like how they had that "ladies" character pack. I would go Ruka from 5Ds (kind of just get an Acient-Fairy archetype that are retrains from her older cards), Rei from GX getting her Mystic cards, and either those AquaActress or Scribblesaurs from ArcV.
Rukas would be the meta one, the ArCV ones would be better as tech options, Rei.....would work but is as powerful as the other 3 (since those mystics are basically LV monsters)
tron needs to have a whole archetype rework or just new versions of his cards and make his xyz work on all monsters and not just xyz cards for copying effects
I was hoping, with the upcoming Duelists of Brilliance pack, that we might get to see new cards for Luna. Since they expanded Tachyon and Trickstar in there. But no. Instead, we get even more of Kaiba’s f*cking XYZ Union support. Since there CLEARLY isn’t enough of THAT in the game.
I know for sure we will get umbral horror support clear vice dragon just got support for gx season 4 and vector will be in duel links soon look with Mizar and Dennis new support got announced right when they went into the game it’s been a trend
If you look at Yuma's onomata archetype, there are: 22 Gagaga cards 9 Gogogo 8 Dododo 4 Zubaba 4 Onomato 1 Loose trap card That is a total of 48 cards, many of which are very competent cards. Out of all the characters on this list I really do not think Yuma needs new support, as he is already one of the most supported characters in the series.

As someone who played with Umbral Horrors for quite some time when they released, yeah they were quite a competent rogue deck.

Roid was supported in the same set as Water Dragon. Like Water Dragon, the support was not great. Legendary Duelists 1 was really not good.

I'd like to see some support for Numerons. They really need an in archetype searcher and a way to protect their field spell. It'd be really cool if they had a built in- searchable limit remover and a way to play while controlling cards, at least face downs if nothing else
If i would give that deck something, it wouldnt be support for the otk version, but rather for the making of number 1000.
From the GX series, I really wanna see new support for Cloudian and the Venom archetype! I know the Cloudians have 3 cards from the anime that still need to be printed. So hopefully, we'll see them soon! 🤞

Another character that needs printed support should be Rio Kastle, since all the spell n trap cards in her deck r not printed cards. Plus she should get more water winged-beast monsters for her deck.
I can't think of their names at the moment, but in the Arc V anime i think the main girl and her other world counterparts cards should all be retained so they all work together. Just like Yuma and all his arctypes.

There is already a card called "Kahyoreigetsu" that supports all of their decks, so there is at least some precedent for that. I do think that the archetypes are too well established though at this point to just retrain all of them. You would likely need more cards like Kahyoreigetsu that can bridge the gaps between their decks.
Let’s not forget that the Heraldic archetype’s ace monsters focused on a anti-Xyz playstyle. So means to have the deck to be able to play against any deck should be considered too.
Ruka doesn’t need an archetype. Just more support that show how her Spirits Deck can stand toe to toe with changing times. Also because they limited Ancient Fairy Dragon to 1, she will need a lot of support considering you’ll be working with one ace card unless they lift the restrictions on her.

I'd say the Cyberdarks are okay for now but the Road monsters that work like the A-Z series from the Manga could be fun they have a thing called 'Combination Summon' Armoroid & the 3 Soildroids could do this
I don't get why they can't print a text in Roids that say "a roid monster except an speedroid" instead of "non wind roid" that cut the archtype options in half.
Yeah it's annoying. It's like Konami you know speedroids exist so if you are not going to update the text then stop printing wind roid monsters. They could all just be earth since they are machines

a lot of these characters you and the comments mentioned deserve support, but as for me, I’ma be basic and say Dartz and his Orichalcos deck.
All three of the current cards (Seal of Orichalcos, Orichalcos Shunoros, and Divine Serpent Geh) all need retrains, and maybe even their anime effects in the case of Shunoros and Geh, and the rest of the archetype’s cards need to be printed.
Maybe even some new or retrains of certain cards to give it more support, but also balance it out, as its a REALLY interesting archetype
i'd love more support for Rio/Marin with her winged beast water type monsters and Dextra and her Butterspy deck since they only release like 4 cards for it and Dumon and his Star Seraph deck but I do agree Luna should get a retrain of her deck working together to form an archtype
Axel from GX would really benefit from having a few copies of Dark Room of Nightmare in his deck.
I want more Gravekeeper support. Ishizu in DL plays them, and they just need better support. I know Ishizu has her pretty strong retrains, but I would like to see them make a Linknor XYZ pre more fusions or even a ritual for Gravekeepers. They’re so neglected

When I think about character not having enough support, I first think to manga character. Chazz, Yusei and Jack need more support.
In the anime, I think we need support for luca(we can just add the support in the manga), sartorius, bandit keith, Ai, lightning, windy, vector and don thousand.
Vector could get support for Umbrals and have his Shining cards support them too since he used them in the anime and they never were printed. Also how could people forget Fujiwaras Clear World deck 😢? Only 1 card of that Archetype has been printed and its just been forgotten.

I think all charcters should have at least 7 monsters. So people can build decks around them. Doodlebeasts are a archetype i want expanded on. Crayon art dinosaurs are cool

I agree. But roids all require very bad and trash main decks. They would need a complete rework and thats not happening.
Morphtronics whole gimmick is just well...was bad at release...still bad now. And i love them. But they were too slow then, they would be way to slow even if they got broken support.
Ehh you can focused on the new roid cards while aren't amazing are defently still playbel cards, maybe a level 2 fusion for mixer roid gy effect, an easy way to search spells/traps so they can get the field spell or the counter trap. A good search target fir dragon roid and big boss. Mind you all of these cane overlap
The problem for morphtronics is that their gimmick was thougth for the anime where they can normal summon in defense position face up, so Leo always had access to any effect he wanted from them.
That didn't translate well to the real game

I would love for some T.G. support spells/traps. I don't think they necessarily need a lot of support atm, however, i would highly enjoy them getting support spells/traps that actually have T.G. in the name...
They have some nice spells/traps imo but you can't search them with their own searcher because they have weird names that don't specifically have "T.G." in them. It's unfortunate and makes it feel pointless to run their support because you have no way to search them for the niech situations you'd want to actually use them in which results in only the two that can be searched being used most of the time. The searcher for their spells/traps is already a hard once per turn anyways so it doesn't feel like it would be broken to let us have more options.

This might just be my bias for burn decks but I would love if Rin’s Windwitch deck got more spell and trap cards, I run a really fun deck Windwitch and Trickstar burn deck but I do think it would be nice if Windwitches were able to stand more by themselves

I definitely think idion got the shaft when it comes to real cards. I always loved the Ishtar cards, but my favorites were the cards odion used against joey, primarily for the shock value, seeing it as a kid, I still think they're cool cards in general. I even considered putting the mystical beast and temple in my deck just because it's trap heavy and synergies well
I find the lack of Kev Ravenwood/Yuu Sakuragi on this list disturbing.
Luna needs the Mako treatment with a proper deck/archetype.
They need to make a character builder pack called "FuturesHope" where it's just the younger characters getting new stuff. Like how they had that "ladies" character pack.
I would go Ruka from 5Ds (kind of just get an Acient-Fairy archetype that are retrains from her older cards), Rei from GX getting her Mystic cards, and either those AquaActress or Scribblesaurs from ArcV.
Rukas would be the meta one, the ArCV ones would be better as tech options, Rei.....would work but is as powerful as the other 3 (since those mystics are basically LV monsters)

That is a total of 48 cards, many of which are very competent cards. Out of all the characters on this list I really do not think Yuma needs new support, as he is already one of the most supported characters in the series.
