🧛 Forgotten Hollow Town Center | Sims 4 Vampire Town Build & the story of a vampire serial killer?

- Why should Forgotten Hollow be quite so... forgotten? Just because vampires live here doesn't mean we can't liven it up (hahaha). So I present to you Forgotten Hollow Town Center, the heart of Forgotten Hollow. It might be a little dingy (hard to get tax revenue and retail sales when a large chunk of your population keeps going "missing") but this little town has plenty to offer. In the center is a town hall with a wedding venue, town offices, and a mayor's office. There is also a functional museum dedicated to the town's history and a national park. In the commercial zones around city hall, you will also find a functional cafe, library, and arts center. For some reason, there is a lot of nightlife to be found in such a tiny town. Your sims can visit the bar, lounge, and hidden speakeasy-style night club!
This video is also part of my "Spill the Tea" on history series, so today we will be learning about the infamous Gilles de Rais, widely considered to be one of the first known serial killers. But was he really a murderer or was this French nobleman framed by the king and church? IDK! It all happened in the 1400s so there is no way to know! But check out my video to find out more about this controversial historical figure. ;)

Love the story and the build!! It's so nice to see vampires getting attention. I exclusively play with occults and usually have vampire legacies. I love putting a pub or nightclub in forgotten hollow but for some reason I never thought of putting in a town center! I love all of the detail in each building, and the fact that the lot can be used in so many ways. Big thumbs up from me, 10/10
Thank you for the lovely comment! I also love playing with supernatural sims and Forgotten Hollow and Glimmerbrook are so dead! I am thinking about doing a magical kind of town center for Glimmerbrook at some point, too. .
i think each town Sims does needs to be like how you are thinking! having a town centre!

I love the story! Where I come from, the stories that resemble Blue Beard’s are about this dude called Shahrayar. They were the first stories I ever read and they made me fall in love with books!

Sounds not that dissimilar to Báthory--EVIL FEMALE _VAMPIRE???_ SERIAL KILLER who...was tried for physically impossible crimes by the guy who was going to inherit her land and title. Funny, that. I love this lot though, love when multiple different "types" of buildings all mesh on the same lot.
I did an Elizabeth Bathory video later and was also struck by the similarities!

what type of lot is this? (like bar/nightclub/cafe?)
I think I uploaded it as a bar or a nightclub on the gallery, but you can change the lot type to make it functional as a bar, nightclub, cafe, library, arts center, museum, national park, generic, or lounge. I playtested as all, and you can even change the lot type while playing there and it will work.
I don't know if you will see this but what packs are in this
Oh gosh, I am not sure off the top of my head, but I can tell you that it probably uses the most items from Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Vampires, and City Living. I am sure it uses random items from a lot of them, though, but those are the ones that you probably need to make it look mostly the same.

I hate that everybody remembers Vlad Țepeș as a vampire, something he wasn't, but no one knows what he really was, a great ruler. I'm so sick of hearing about him being Dracula, at least remember he's from Romania, a little bit of truth to this SF story.
