I love this type of knife with the copper inlaid in the blade, I would love to learn how to make one excellent job!

Wouldn't soldering that make it a weak point,just a curiosity question,but one good hit that'll separate.Unless it's more for collecting.
If I soldered it right, it’s not coming apart. The guy who this knife went to will probably never use it, but it’s a solid knife made for use. Chef’s knives don’t take abuse like a big ole chopping knife, so there are aspects of the two that I do differently, to make sure they handle the job they’re made for.

Dude u work on comissions? Or are u an artist? Finally consider a multibar damast integral guard with keyhole handle. You CAN pull that off and make a good video about it, really comprehensive, and you get amazing ammount of views. I am waiting for your breakthrough. Much love from germany my friend. I sure appreciate your kind words. I haven’t done a keyhole handle yet, but I think I’ll take that challenge. I don’t really work on commission much anymore, but I do sell what I make. Germany is where my family is from, and I really want to go visit.
