- In this video Alex Shorrock shows you how to tie a ronnie rig for a solid pva bag set up. This drop off solid pva bag system uses the Cygnet solid pva bag stems and ensures that the lead will drop off if and when required. His unique tying style ensures that the solid bag is presented on the lake bed perfectly every time.
When solid pva bag fishing Alex prefers to use a pop up for his solid bag rig and this under used method which has seen him catch hundreds of carp using this method.
Solid pva bags are a brilliant all year round tactic and with our solid bag stems it's now even easier to tie a few in advance.

Good video
16.20 could you please tell me what is the length of the bag stem and where can I buy the pear weight. Regards Kelvin
What is the point of a Ronnie set up on a braided hooklink other than changing the hook? Enough spinner movement in braid to negate all the metalwork
Won't it go straight to the bottom anyway?
Where is the drop off element
Hi Steve, the leads have a slot in them so when released from the stem they slide off the line
@@CygnetTackle They'd have to make their way up 12" of tubing first though, so I get Steve's point!
To much metal going in the fish mouth
Not really it’s a very effective rig and heat in a bag with a sharp hook as well on a length of subtle hook link
