Dude, I know I’ve said it quite a few times, but seeing that first idea turn into the final film is incredible. So cool to watch a passion project come together. Thanks for doing a bts! It’s inspiring to see filmmakers overcome challenges and create!
This is truly a beautiful thing, passionate people coming together, low budget, to make something they believe in. Now to watch the film. Thanks. Subbed.
Drew, great bts, and great film! Just finished my script and knee deep into prepro. It’s inspiring to see another filmmaker getting a great start and pumping out quality like you guys, keep it up!
So cool and inspiring! Passion projects are the best. I have a question and apologize if was already asked: did you talk to the BnB host about the shoot up front? After the fact? Kept it on the dl? I’ve had mixed results doing this and wanted to hear your experience.
Hey, yes I did talk with them and simply said that our plan was to shoot a scene at their location with a small crew and light setup. They were kind enough to say yes.
Drew, AMAZING BRO! But I wanted to ask, if your budget was $1500, how did you cover the equipment costs? Did you rent it, or did the crew use their own gear?
I had made a feature film for about $1600, shot in black and white, mostly in my home town in ten days. The movie name is 'Rishi Ki Dunia'. It turned out okay as per the reviews I got. Now I have my second feature film script ready but I haven't found a producer yet. Really wish to see my second feature film become a reality. Also, I am yet to see your short film Unprofessional. But I saw glimpses in this video and it looks very cool and the premise is interesting. Will catch it shortly. 👍
I saw the short and really loved it. It was really funny and interesting. Gave me David Fincher vibes. The actor was good too. This can be turned in to a feature film.
I am trying my best. If possible I need to start this year itself. It's been almost 2 years I have been sitting idle. I have made some short films during this time but I really want to make another feature. Really hope it works out. Also, I saw 'unprofessional'. It gave me David Fincher vibes. Really loved it. Taking in to consideration the budget it's a very good short film. 👍
@@drew.schettlerThis video was very encouraging and motivating! I have been thinking for some time to do just the same. Looking forward to you next video.

Thanks! 🤙🏽
Very inspiring and insightful
Glad you enjoyed it 🤙🏽
Drew, AMAZING BRO! But I wanted to ask, if your budget was $1500, how did you cover the equipment costs? Did you rent it, or did the crew use their own gear?
Thanks man, the crew brought all their own gear. The cost was some with cast, location, and production design.
Cool video but how did you get that RED Helium 8k? Did you guys rent it? How did you buy that with a 1.5k budget? I'm confused...
Thanks man, our DP owns one and brought it with him. Nice to have friends with great gear!
Did you coordinate with the AirBnB host that you were using the location for filming? Or did you just rent it and show up?
Thanks for sharing all this information 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My pleasure! Interested in more content like this?
Wanna be a director, but gotta work on my ability to explain my ideas hahah, but great work! +1 sub🤘🏻

Hello Sir could you give or have a list of the equipment you used to shoot this film I would really appreciate it ty
This is totally off-topic but what setup are you using to capture bts?

Dope
Please make tutorial about color grading 👍
Noted! In the meantime I briefly cover some color grading in this davinci video. th-cam.com/video/UsEMshB417s/w-d-xo.html
Where did the equipment come from? That's a whole lotta gear for a $1500 shoot.
Did your crew bring their own gear?
Yes, they did! 🤙🏽

Making a 1500$ short film with you $50,000 worth of gear
Inspire some people to get behind your project and you'll be amazed at what people can bring to the table for no cost.
ive asked before in groups about people coming together for free but its been a big no no so far
@@LonelyGamingYT they wanna get paid. I wish I can have actors for free 🧐
Make a 1500 movie......with 50k+ equipment......
