Winter Pier Fishing in the UK

My first shore fishing trip out this year - Pier fishing in south shields for anything that is about at this time of year.
I spent two days fishing from the start of the pier at marker 14 and 10 fishing into the bay using a selection of frozen baits and small hooks.
Day fishing isn’t too good around my local area this time of year but I persevered and was rewarded with a few fish.

I haven't fished walker, byker or ouseburn before because im not to sure where to fish round there but my next video is just along from friars wharf apartments near Gateshead stadium i think that's the furthest up the river i have fished so far.

Good angler but nothing to catch any more apart from bits and pieces . UK sea fishing seems dead . I packed in the Whitby charters after several blanks for the whole boat . Depressing stuff .
