Yep...James River is loaded w/ fish...esp. in September and early October...fish off the "old" James River bridge!! Love it...keep those videos coming.
Found it. It is the Monitor-Merrimac Overlook Park (Fishing Pier). Nice fishing there.

My first time fishing was out there, 8 years old(35 years old). I caught 8 fish from the sand right there in that spot. Nothing that big, tho I did hook something that was too strong for me too reel in and it popped my line. My home town here. Edited....that 3rd one is about what I caught all those years ago
Man, I bet it was a skate!!...those guys are line busters! I hook em all the time down here in the James (and lower Chesapeake bay)

I went fishing there a few times during the summer and all I've caught were croaker. This has me excited for fishing in the fall!

Hey nice town you in Virginia there's another Pierre about 4 miles away red Fishing Pier on Main Street behind Hilton Elementary I found Pier today is very nice and the water is deep

No it’s not my guy you don’t know the area it’s a pier down the street in the projects Lincoln park where the seafood boats are . This is downtown Newport News Main Street / hilton sec is off of warwick blv not the bottoms

Nice. I just moved from there. Redfish and trout are plentiful up there. Peeler crab and fresh dead shrimp works the best.

Nice spot to fish! Took my family fishing here few months ago. Just a day of fishing 🎣 fun. We left with no catch that day. We had to buy fish to eat that night. 😂. Will reference this video to my family. Will use this advice for the next time we’re there. Nice catch!
