The fan nozzle looks kinda transparent

Seems to be made of 2 plastic halves screwed together rather than the usual brass or stainless, steel.

I see one of the fan oarsmen's seem to be jammed after the performance..

It happens sometimes. That's why these Oarsman devices need to be inspected regularly during the routine maintenance.
