Bears - I loved the way you closed out the video. I think ya'll probably needed the fire and the camaraderie of the other hikers. It's always nice to be surprised with friends you don't expect to see and a good meal together. The hike today was beautiful. Good morning, Bears! Beautiful journey with you two! At one point in the video you came across a meadow and how beautiful to see the grass waving with the wind. It made me think of my wife and I watching, Little House On The Prairie 😢. It was her favorite TV show. Great idea to stop short of your destination to be with people and share a camp fire which I believe brings out one of the primal instinct of humans. Fire gives us, warmth, protection from large creatures and communication, aka human beings together sitting around the fire and communicating. Just beautiful. I recognized where you stopped for your campsite. I was there last year on my journey to hike all of the highest peaks on the Eastern side of the US one of them being Mount Rogers. The state of Virginia’s highest peak! You will also get to see the ponies of the Highlands there. Very, very cool! Forever onward, young ladies! 🐱🧸🐻⛰️🥾🌅💙👍
Oh Bears, I came home from work today to find this video waiting! Serious, it appears to be one of the prettiest wake-up mornings, and wonderful fireside end of day with friends. One of my favorite locations on the entire trail, I have hiked this in nice weather, heavy snow, etc, always beautiful! Almost 500 miles!!

Virginia was the state I grew up in the area of northern Virginia was where my father owned a farm property around Marshall in Middleburg Virginia that the country is so rich in history, lush, force, and trees and abundance of wildlife I’m looking forward to seeing, more of your postings stay safe walk your hike and God bless you. ❤😊

Hello Mama Bear and Little Bear. I know an app that would be cool to have on your hike. I have it on my phone, it's called Merlin. It is a bird app. After downloading, just choose east coast section. It didn't cost me anything for the basic. And when you open app, hit start recording, and it will identify the birds. Happy hiking. 🥾🥾🥾🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🏕🏕🏕

The campfire gathering with trail magic was a great end to a hiking day. It's hard to start off cold on the first bit of the day but I prefer to do that rather than have to stop to shed layers.

Greyson Highlands and the ponies, Settlers Museum and 1894 School House, Chestnut Knob Shelter overlooking Burke’s Garden - God’s Thumbprint and it’s the highest elevated valley in Virginia, Dismal Falls- swimming hole, Woodshole Hostel- best on the trail! New River- 2nd Oldest River On Earth! Plus it Flows North. Only 3 rivers in our country that does! Dragons Tooth, MaCafe Knob, Tinkers Cliffs, Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah Valley! Y’all will love it! Journey on! And Love and Light to you both! 🌻✌️❤️🦆donnie duck

This is Noodles- I'm so glad we could be there to help with your journey. I can't believe you hadn't had trail magic in so long. Good luck to you both. I will be watching the rest of the way. I thought Virginia was beautiful from the Blue Ridge Parkway, but nothing like the views you're getting from the Trail. Love the zoom shots that show what all is in those mountain hollers :-) How nice to end your day with Trail Magic and a bunch of friends around the campfire. Your closing shots gave a real sense of the camaraderie that hikers talk about. Made me want to be there. Look forward to your next video, Mama Bear and Little Bear.

LOVE following you both along on this amazing journey ❤ You are both an inspiration and watching how close you are and how kind and welcoming all the other hikers are, makes me wish I was out there. ❤ I don’t have anyone, myself. I have my elderly parents and I love them to death❤ My dad has Lewy Body Dementia and my mom is disabled. I’m their caregiver full time which doesn’t leave much time for anything else. I found that over the course of the last few years, especially this year, any so-called friends, simply…. Disappeared. They ignore texts and phone calls UNLESS they need me to do something for them. (Which is a boundary I’m tired of people crossing) I don’t know…. The trail just feels like “home” when I watch these videos. The end was perfect and that hiker’s advise….”Just keep going” ❤ Mantra for Life. One day I WILL get south of the border and Hike the AT❤ (I’m Canadian)

Hi! It’s just a new buff we bought in Damascus. It has an AT print on it, so it’s kinda neat. Plus, it’s larger. Little Bear has one, too. 😊

No subscription fees…at least not that I’m subscribed to. I’ve never really used iMovie, so I can’t compare. Sorry.

You probably already know this, but just in case - be careful of how much tuna you’re are eating due to mercury levels - especially for little bear.

The light style tuna(light,chunk light) is Skipjack Tuna, is smaller than Albacore Tuna(white tuna),and contains about ⅓ of the mercury of the Albacore Tuna. ✌🏼
I'd worry less about the mercury and more about the fake seed oils. Barring a medical problem, your body can filter Mercury out through the liver and kidneys. Seed oils on the other hand are unnatural abominations that shouldn't even be legal to sell as food. Look into the research on seed oils and bad knees and inflammation. If you're going to get tuna in oil, look for cold pressed olive oil, it's not all that great for you either, but at least it isn't made with chemicals out of a lab.
