Oh my goodness, how SPOT ON you are about the wedding ceremony that has changed over the years. I couldn’t agree with you more on everything you said. I also speak from experience in that I’ve been in the wedding industry for 30 years owning a bridal salon. I’ve seen the transition from a church wedding - to a somewhat religious ceremony in a non-church location - to a completely secular “it’s all about me day.” I find very little distinction between the Christians getting married and the non-Christians getting married. Sad. We as Christians are too concerned and content with blending in. If a wedding ceremony isn’t a time and place for a religious stance, what is?! Thank you Pastor Allen for speaking some hard truth.

When i was a little girl, a long time ago, everyone dressed up for church. However on Easter and Christmas all stops were pulled; we were told we really dressed up to honor Jesus, especially on His special days.
I am stunned at what our government has done with marriage and taking god completely out of it. Marriage is hard enough without taking our father completely out of it and by no means is it between same sex but between a man and woman ❤
