I've seen spongers do amazing shit...double barrel rolls inside of crushing 5 ft Hawaiian shorebreak... then get shot out like a cannon ball with a blast of spray. This shit was slow, weak and lame.

The thing that makes the video a bit unbelievable (i'm not saying it is) is that in some moments there is not sincronization in the images (for example in 2:04-2:05 it is not the same moment....different turns and apparently different waves). What's the purpose of doing this on a SUP with a paddle in his hand? I mean, wouldn't a performance long board be more fun? Or even a little short board. Nothing about that wave suggests some sort of benefit on a SUP. Sorta silly. Kinda like telemark skiing. LOL
