I’ve had a lot of abdominal surgeries for various reasons and I need a multi level fusion and would be a little concerned with scar tissue if they would go in the anteriorly. The surgeon didn’t even talk about going in the front. So going in posteriorly must be the only way this Dr does fusions. I am scared to death to get this surgery. I’m 56 and very active so I’m afraid that I won’t be able to do as much after this surgery. I am in pain 24/7 in buttocks and left leg and foot. I just don’t want to be worse off!
I am vlogging my recovery for my L5 -S1 laminectomy spinal fusion surgery. Go and check out my channel. I am almost 3 weeks post op and things are feeling good so far.
I am 6 weeks postop. I had one speedy recovery after my surgery wish I would’ve had it sooner He is the best doctor in DFW.❤❤❤❤I’m a 45 female from Odessa Tx
hi doctor, im 69 just diagnosed with L4, L 5 spondy thot maybe caused from pars fracture suspected, i also have degenetateive spine advanced severe, so they said i should have a fusion with rids and screws. they didnt say anything about getting a spacer. i also have osteopenia for ten years scared of the fusion because multiple disc bulging mild ar l2 and l3, not sure about s1. afraid of adjacent disease after fusion, then i need more surgery. i also have severe spinal stenosis at L4, l5. and acouple other moderate narrowing at T12- L1 from disc bulg and mild bilateral inferior l1 neural firaminal narrowing.l2,l3 circumferentialndisc bulge hypertrophic facet deg result in mild central stenosis ad moderate left and mild right l2 neural foraminal narrowing. l3, l4 mild circumferential disc bule and hypertrophic facet deg result in mild central stenosis here and mild bilateral l3 neural foraminsl narriwing. L4, l5 anterolisthesis disc bulging and hypertropic facet deg results in severe central spinal stenosis with effacement of the thecal sac and compression of the cauda equina. there is left and moderate right L 4 neural foraminsl narrowing. L 5, S1. no focal disc abnormality or sig spinal stenosis. can u help sort this out. can i have these other places of stenosis and foraminal and nueral narrowing, fixed with ultrasonic small instruments and try to stabilize the adjacent areas so i dont deg those and then need more second syrgery cuz of adjacent vertebrae.
Hey there, Dr. Donnally does about 15 new patient telemedicines💻 every week. Here is the best path forward: 1- email your insurance card to Spine@TSCspine.com (We can’t take Medicaid. Private pay is sometimes an option, unless Medicaid) 2- if we take that insurance THEN upload your images to my portal for your 1st visit. (The only HMO we take is BCBS). 3- I must have X-rays and MRI, X-rays are critical! “Just” MRI isn’t enough and is a misuse of your time. It needs to be from last 12 months. Nothing older is needed or wanted. Cant stress this enough, must have BOTH: x rays and MRI. 4- You need to get your CD of your X-ray and MRI (imaging centers will NEVER send them to us) 5- On the top of my website (www.DonnallySpine.com) is the link to UPLOAD images, from YOUR HOME! 🥰(or at a CVS with Physician LookUp Code k5037438) 6- To recap: email us, get CDs, THEN upload! Step by step: th-cam.com/video/HpKOfI_1FSs/w-d-xo.html - Again- no Medicaid. Must have your X-rays and MRI.
It seems like x-rays are discounted. Viewing bodies via all methods offer specific value. I'm in Yuma & I would love if I were in your region. Docs who listen are rare, those who hear are 1 in a million.
stem cells will not reinflate your disc! stem cells can eat away scar tissue around the vertabra. try "discseel" for that reinflation. washington state. I did stem cells in costa rica. helped a lot and though i am much better...
@@DonnallySpineConsult doc...9,600 dollars in costa rica. they do not fix the problem. panama is around 30,000 for the guy who does celebrites. and it still will not work.

X rays are key
I can literally feel and hear clunk when it moves. MRI shows bone on bone.
I bet
Dr Donnelly what about stem cell injection for my L4 L5 degenerative/herniate disc with severe foramina stenosis?

Eh, if you have the money go for it. Not cheap. Not sure about going to a third wild country for it
