He sure is! My siblings and I used to laugh at his music when we were children. We lived on a hill here in Trinidad and Tobago and a neighbour used to blast the "Royal Telephone" album in the evenings. We grew up with Bebe and CeCe Winans and other American gospel singers in our home and thought Mr. Niles' music was old fashioned. We even used to call it "Grenadian music"! We didn't know better. However, a couple of years ago my soul ached to hear "Walking Up the King's Highway" and I researched it on TH-cam. I found the whole album and others I never knew but now love as well. I finally found out who this great man and his group were. I play his music every morning now during devotion. There's something sincere and holy about it. There's no Hollywood bells and whistles but it's still enjoyable. God bless his and the souls of the other Consolers that are now resting in the Beautiful Garden with the Resplendent Rose of Sharon! Thank You Mr. Niles and the Consolers for stepping into your earthly purpose and helping generations of West Indians serve God in spirit and truth!
