I was waiting 20:55 for you to say that. I’ve done the spark plug sockets on a 3.2 Audi V6 and i did the passenger side and then never did the driver side. 😆
Great Vid and teardown of 4.2 Q7 Im having the same issue with mine misfire in cylinder 2 & 3 rough running but no mechanical noise all coils and plugs are good it just happened all of a sudden one day with an epc and flashing cel. Did the new injectors fix the problem?
Thank you! Unfortunately no... we have done a lot, but have not figured out the misfiring issue. Also had it at two different shops and they couldn't figure it out either. We think that it might be vacuum related, so we will dive into again at some point. Just been busy and tough to have time together to record. We just did a video replacing the oil cooler, which fixed our major oil leak if you are interested in doing that job at some point.
Sorry to hear that I had some success with mine after changing 7 of the 8 Injectors, (just hard to find supply on these ) I also changed all pressure switches and cleaned the intake and exhaust ports seem to be running smooth so far. You might want to check wire harness & swap out the ECU if the Miss fire is isolated to few injectors. That oil cooler is a PITA but does the trick in solving any major leak as for me now I need to find and tranny hard shifting issue only when the car runs hot might be shift solanoids or a control module the Q7 has been pretty reliable but now starting to show its age, take care and keep on with the great helpful content.
@@onespeed2624, thank you for the tips! The computer has been replaced as well. I actually forgot about that part. Were going to look for a vacuum leak first, and if that isnt our issue, we will probably move on to testing wires in the harness. I haven't scanned it in a while, so I will start there. The oil cooler actually wasn't too bad. Our video for replacing that is up now if you are interested in how we did it!
@@2brokeurowners672 Thanks I wll check it out, I just done my injectors car ran smooth for a day and missfire came back, I found out the pressure relief valve on the right bank Hpfp has a air leak that sounds like an annying bird. It seems the continuity of the electrical gave enough volts to not show no fault code, but after a few scans I was able to get P2293 I will replace the valve and see how it goes. You can check out a few vids I uploaded then onto my tranny that shifts hard after 30 minutes of driving always something to fix in the VAG world good luck and thanks again.
Pretty much everything bit of maintenance on these engines is an engine out situation. Once the engine is out everything is super easy.
ya, engine out to work on these
Ayee I Just Meet Cody Today 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, those seals are not part of the valve cover gasket and not cheap. I replaced all 12 while the valve covers were off.
