Hi buddy! I guess a good way to get to know about IITGN is to attend the JEE Open House that IITGN is conducting on 23rd October. Apart from that, frankly speaking, you have many options to explore coding. You can do Dual Majors in CSE, there are no restrictions on branch change if you can get a CPI of 9.5 or above (even without this, branch change is comparatively easy than in other IITs but don't rely on this), you can get a Minors in CSE, etc. In all of these options, companies allow you to sit for placements but the number and percentage of these companies is very subjective and can't be predicted.

Very high. Right now, anyone who knows coding has a really good scope to get placed. That's how the things are right now. Can't say much about the future

Connectivity to city
IITGN has buses that go to the city multiple times a day and I have never felt any problem with the connectivity.

Railway station is approximately 45 minutes away from the campus but you will easily get a cab from or to the railway station.
