My daughters content on Instagram and TikTok have exploded doing exactly what Gary mentioned. She’s creating content that people are hungry for. Almost instantly her following stated growing by the thousands a day. It was almost a perfect storm. Her background and world events came together. She’s being inundated with requests for collaboration but doesn’t want to paint herself into any corner. I might have just learned how to help her going forward. Thank you!

In 2018, he warned us that we better take advantage of SMM before the big brands catch wind…now he’s in a way pitching them against those same KOLs. Brilliant business mind and VERY visionary.
It's one thing to see Gary helping us small folks grind it out, out here, but I love that he gets to pass his positive messages along to big brands and people in powerful positions also. It gives me some hope.

As someone who used to work for a multinational agency alongside Brands, every single Gary's responses were a clear & sobering awakening. Are these ineffective practices still happening inside these Agencies and Brand's meeting rooms? Yes 🙂

I am always looking up the businesses that The V talks too in his videos. This one was interesting to see, and honestly wouldnt have predicted it. as always Big UPS to The V! and this audience esp. much better interaction and thought than some audiences, sometimes drives me nuts what people ask, haha.

The branding on that last slide makes it look like it’s some military equipment parts manufacturer owned by dinosaurs.
This was hands down the best content I've seen you make Gary in all my years following you, I think going all the way back to 2013. This has been a huge eye opener for building our brand. Thank you so much for making this video to better explain how to be relevant in social media, especially for CPG brands. I think my favorite part was unlearning the "be on brand" mantra I keep saying in our own marketing department. Going to focus on just building the habit of making good content. So much to think about now. Thanks again!
My respect for Gary Vee is growing, didn't think much of him before but his intellect is truly amazing, I'll be watching more of his content.
Go, Gary, preach it! Having just left the agency world, I can tell you that his statement is true. I was constantly shaking my head at the ridiculous amount of dollars being spent on creative that didn't work. And the wasted time to get something "on brand." Hours of meetings where the agency would be trained on the latest for "on-brand." Stop acting like your consumers are ignorant. Let them tell you what works instead of trying to tell them that they should like it and buy it.

@Maurice Steiner 10% is a solid number for the company to get towards. Now that we've hit over 8 billion people, we've also hit over 1 billion people who are physically obese. At least 600+million being adults.
Bringing 100 million people back into a healthy body weight will add at least 5-10 years on average back into their life (assuming natural causes of dying) which equals 500-1 billion years.
We want to add that back into the families that want to see each other longer!! We're excited!!

Agree. And when market share continually goes down and biz ops needs to adjust and find new strategies, they're more likely to test a strategy which is a small investment vs. betting the farm

Gary just needs to make a video of tactics we can use to let our higher-ups trust us enough to implement this strategy. Especially the relevance part. People are afraid to talk about relevant topics because it can be controversial.
You should be capable of doing it by youself, study, ask and do. Then implement. If that doen's work, go to other companies sell them that model and work for youself. Not worth killing yourself workinkg for other's profits and not even recognized by it

I have teen volunteers to help at the office I work at. They all post on tiktok to sell their handmade goods like dog collars, purses etc. They all earn more than me and their parents!!! And all the kids drink Prime now, because of the content they produce. Marketing is a new day and time.

As a new start up on brand has gottn stumpt by all the UGC ads, but don't have funding for marketing. Testing organically different concepts on Tiktok what posted months ago now gets daily views. Left scratching my head😊 on brand off brand only care about what the consumer wants. Light bulb moment.🎉
