can you imagine playing a crazy beautiful melody only for him to throw halftime on it right in front of your face LMAO
HAHA
But the beat is crazy 🔥🔥
fr 💀
🤣
Lmao this guy so whack
Do they know what they're signing up for when they come on here?
Can just imagine her expecting some fantastical film score to be made from her playing and then all of a sudden you start flicking through brutal 808's lol
good lord this is so hilarious!
or learn yourself lol all about elevation bro
The beats are super bland and dry
@@dirtysouth1984 i agree with u man, i like him for his effort and experimental style but these beats are not at all special man
Lmao I wonder what goes through their head as musicians who can actually play an instrument to see someone just clicking shit in a daw every 12 year old could do
These beats are so different, what a instrument. Fire instrumental 🌊
If you are ⌚️ my profile please make lik on this
Ocean this is sick but it could be cool if you could incorporate them into helping you make the beat, maybe asking them what kind of musical genre they like or something to get them involved while your making the beat, great vid tho!
I 2nd this motion
I fourth this motion
i fukks with this motion...🔥🔥🔥
I 6th this motion
I 7th this motion
for everyone wondering, the first song she played is named: "upwards to the moon", there are also great versions on the guqin on yt!
If you are ⌚️ my profile please make lik on this
I was gonna say. I sampled this before. Funny I never knew it was an actual song.
She's so good with that instrument. What a pro! I'm gonna be real honest here, I kind of wish you had more of her melody and stayed more true to the original. Not only to honor her craft, but also, some parts she did were really good! I have a feeling you are in a rush and have to be done as fast as possible to not bring down your guests into boredom, but maybe it's something you can be more relaxed with? Anyways, it's interesting to see. I only watched a few of your videos so far.
I was going to say something similar, actually.
They always record a better one once they've heard what you want to do with it once, then they know what you want to extract. Also brave to just go up 2 semitones and halftime it in front of a classical musician lol

Why? Hahahah
@@silxbeatscus classical musicians like her are usually masters of theory, both in terms of ear training and general knowledge. Transposing shit like that is interesting because they be playing shit in different modes of a scale, flattening the 5th and 7ths in those different modes, crazy shit compared to modern day genres. Kind of a trip to a classical musician, I mean she ain’t even know what drill was 😂
Its great to see 2 professionals in their fields merge to make something firee🔥🔥
The whole bringing in musicians to make beats series is great, would do something like that on my channel as well if I had the budget to pay them lol
Try with some upcoming musicians, preferable student musicians. Do like a collab project
@@mak00ileven great advice bruv 👍
Make friends with musicians so you don’t have to pay them lmao. Being in the video is hype enough sometimes.
Its not even hard to find musicians who would do that.
Go to a University or College, Faculty and ask someone you'd like to play with you or take time to make something together.
Of course its not gonna work all the time, because people got lives to life but some would do that, if you offer them a free production and when its close to their home.
I mean I know that I would do it if I would life not far away from a music studio. You always learn new things through something like that.
小姐姐弹得好听,第二首ocean做出了非常不一样的感觉!well done
It looks very complicated to learn, props to her for playing so clean
ching made some drill beats the way the universe comes full circle sometimes is truly precious lool
I just feel like I'm floating when I hear this melody...the best instrument Ocean discovered so far in this type of videos!!!!
Bro theses beats are insane. Especially the first one man that Ghuzeng instrument combine with that 808 damn 🔥🔥 Great content
that girl should be an important musician in old time too !
she's got the powerfull roots of ancient
that give me some shivers when she play this instrument
very massive big up for this tune and to bring this amazing woman
The middle eastern Qanun/Kanun instrument is crazy too, similar in a way of playing but it’s a whole different vibe
i like how the people he brings on just chill silently and let him do his thing.
i like the new sound track!! SO MUCH ENERGYYY
You always find the craziest collaborators 🔥
This instrument sounded amazing. And as always your beats and videos are fire 🔥🔥🔥.
Next video idea-
I would like to see a video where Ocean just uses one synth to make a beat (preferably an older synth) ; no VSTs just using the synth for all sounds.
( Of course with his own drums samples and of course with the use of plugins. )
Same Instrument used in "books of war" by MF Doom. Absolute fire 🔥
Oh man ..I can feel that "wtf" vibe from this women. Lol 🤦
beautiful watching her play with such passion
Honestly the inviting other instrumentalist series is so cool. A sitar and tabla combo would be cool. Interested in how you’d incorporate the live and different sounds of the drum. That or SPANISH GUITARRIST
theoretically it would be awesome but i don’t have faith he would do those instruments justice
古筝 is dope asf 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳
that instrument is amazing and she plays brilliant, the drill tracks you can make from them sounds. fire
love thisssss, just a suggestion tho, maybe at the end when you are finished with a beat, you could put the audio of it in the video instead of recording it from the speakers in your studio? it would sound much cleaner in my opinion!
I like how many of the guests are starting filimng the process, seems like they enjoy it, cool
That’s a really famous song that all people who play this instrument seem to love playing because I somehow already know this song. Shout out to the Raq. Brooklyn been stealing the UK drill bass lines though so it all gets passed around.
great producer (both musical and with the edits), and great musician. Amazing.
'Seeing you do this so quickly' every time.
It's not like that genre requires a lot of thought 😅
Go ahead and do it then wise guy. He didn't just make a beat from one genre either, the first beat was from drill and the second one is just an ordinary rap beat, both may have similar aspects but they're vastly different in terms of engineering. Trying to discredit an art style you have no experience in is the epitome of ignorance.
there's food that brings us together, and then there's music that really shows what love is. this is sick.
I already know this is going to be crazy🔥
If you are ⌚️ my profile please make lik on this
Ocean how about next time you lay down some chords and stuff like that and the instrumentalist can freestyle over the chords
I love when musicians mixe different musicale's culture for making something really good. My first "slap" was when i was young and i heard for the first time the duo Run DMC with Aerosmith - Walk this way. Gigantic song. Or Fugees using the song of Enya - Boadicea for making Ready or Not.
Yoo ocean I generally enjoy your videos man I like how you bring in real talented producers and actual talented individuals to play instruments.
Ocean gang going hard💯💯💯
Bro that instrument is craaazzzyyy..... I love it ❤💯
Starts off all dreamy unicorns and rainbows ..... Until.... Them 808s and thunderstorms start rolling in 🤣🤣🤣 drills on drills hahaha ...

You're on to something tuff with these bro... thanks

Oh my God! Cool sweater! Especially the word "style" on it😏
0:30 bro this part gave me goosebumps 😳
0:29 this sounds like thefatrat
This is cool! You should hire someone who can play the Erhu Violin that would be mad 🔥
That’s Sokka, it end with an okka
0:28 gave me chills
i heard this instrument on gunna song "who you foolin"
The first beat in this was your best one yet out of all the musicians you've worked with
need these beats released 2nd goes in hard
Takes me back to the times where I watched those old school Jet Li/Jackie etc kung fu films. Beautiful instrument
Try with the Murin Khuur "Horse headed fiddle" the Mongolian instruments sounds crazy on hip hop beat
Well she was hired right? she got hers you got yours
Wow this video was wonderful!!
Maybe switch up the zoom edit some more but I really enjoyed it!
She is talented, I hear that Ghuzeng in my Kunfu flicks i look at lol But she is young, I'm sure she heard trap and 808,s before. I would use her in RnB and Soul Pop music and maybe dance hall tracks. fire!!!!! Thanks for the vid.
ur hella versatile dawg these beats were crazyyyy 🔥
her energy is amazing
Try with an Ethiopian professional Masinko or Washint player you're going to love it trust me.
Lançou um Hungria aí no comecinho kkkkk
🔥💯
The second song was one of the hit song from journey to the west 1986.
The song she was playing is called upwards to the moon
🔥🔥🔥dope stuff!!!
Bro you are amazing the way you use unique instruments to make beats
Стиль стиль!!Прикольно
That drill beat has my heart
I’m a big fan of contrast as well 😅😉
Always doing things differently! Enjoyed this one!
nahhh man that first beat 🔥🔥
The beats are different🔥
sometimes a gangsta needs a hug
The music she plays, i've had that song saved for years, always wanted to put a beat on it. Made me to it ;)
Cold cold cold 🥶
Soo good brotha🔥🔥🐐
Hey Ocean, I love to see you use some Indian instruments for example veena, esraj or sitar. If those divine sounds smashes with your sick beats it would be a fire bro. Please consider this!!!
+1
You never cease to impress me.
808 BANGS HARDDDDDD!
as soon as she strummed the guzheng i instantly got avatar flashbacks from that
the kanun is an turkish instrument btw :)
Straight fire 🔥🔥🔥 bro keep up the good work
Here before the guy in the comments starts blessing your family
Daamn.. she is skilled !!!
This is insanely dope!
OCEAN YOURE GOATEDDD
Nah first sample was insane!! kinda gave "who you foolin" vibes
can't stop thinking bout that scene in Kung Fu Hustle
Yo Ocean, Please can u do a vid on everything to do with 808 SLIDES, I'm getting really jealous of FL Studios glides and slides and I want them in LOGIC! 😩
Hey ocean, why don’t you use the step sequencer for snare patterns? It’s a little quicker! Hi hats aren’t as flexible on the step sequencer but snare and kicks are dope on it!
Dope video as expected
Those trills 🥶🥶
Im going to meditate to this beat now....thank you and inner peace be with you
