These two Thor movies have the best soundtracks out of the entirety of the Thor series. I will die on this hill. Edit: Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the 80s/90s rock style, but… these two are just… peak Thor.
Thor is my favourite Avenger movie, even though it not even close to Nordic Mythology. The film has a solid start, middle, and end. Life and death. Redemption. Heart. Faith. Everything!
Sad that the strength of this film, or ateast the beauty of how the mythology was presented, was nonexistent in the later 2 films of Thor. (Only good things about those was the relationship between Thor and Loki)
I read somewhere they were told to 'lighten it up' for Ragnerok - Dark World was awesome and the music supported it well - but they screwed it up on the third one.

They turned aesir asgardians from a civilization of the gods to a random city in space , nerfed Thor and turn him dull and ruined Odin and the dark elves had potential but we're underused. Atleast Ragnarok had a great arc for Thor, a great villian, the side characters were great and the asgardians kicked ass.
They need to play this theme during Infinity War when Thor starts whooping Thanos. Mark my word, it will happen. Yggdrasil from the movie soundtrack is like one of the most inspiring songs I've ever heard.
Just want you to know, I subbed for the gym ost remixes. I would definitely love a Captain America mix, a Halo mix, and or Arkham series mix as well. If you can spare the time for it.
