A governor can order the arrest of anybody in his state. It will then be a matter of whether the arrest is lawful or unlawful in the circumstances. The executive order of arrest was not even carried out. It is recommended that the Kano State Government appeal this judgment with immediate dispatch.
Alhaji Sanusi was disposed and he had accepted and that was why he could not approach the judiciary but Alhaji Bayero disagreed with is removal and had gone to court because he believed that his removal was illegal.
I am getting rather confused about the Royal family institution in Kano or any other part of Nigeria. Who's the 'King-Makers'? Is it the state governor or the Royal institution?
Nigeria is a funny country. When Sanusi instituted the same fundamental human rights suit against the then government of Kano, Ganduje did not honour the decision. And I wonder what fundamental human rights was breached by the governor. Sanusi was removed in the worst manner cos he was escorted out of Kano and banished, but Bayero was removed humanly.
Did Sanusi not got justice then over his fundamental rights? was it not the reason why he had rights to live anywhere he wishes including Kano? He has been in Kano several times after his banishment without him being arrested.

Ado Bayero was not banished but was deprived of his fundamental rights of displacing him from the Palace by ordering him to vacate the Palace withing 48hrs without committing any offence in which the action of the state government has even violated the tenancy act of the Nigeria laws,
Sanusi was issued with query for an offence of insubordination and he was given fair hearing which he was obliged to have replied but failed to do so n then he was dethroned banished he seeks justice over his banishment n got justice n earned freedom of movement.
Babajide you are biased in the case of Kano, because you are not there when Ado Bayero asked his men to pack his belongings. And they also vandalized some items in the place removing all switches, breaking glasses windows and even scratching walls and damaging curtains etc. please always say the truth don't be biased
