So England are through and I was hoping these too teams didn't meet and both got through as that would be my whole bloodline in Australia. Thanks for the behind the scenes. Irelend deserved that, Katie deserved that, throughout the campaign they've played more ferociously and with a greater hunger. To get to their first ever WWC is stunning and I wish them all the best in Aus/NZ (unless they play ENG lol)! I do feel sad for the Arsenal (current and former) Scots Mitchy, Jenny, Lisa, and with the quality of players Scotland have in Caz Weir, Erin Cuthbert, Claire Emslie etc. but this wasn't their year. #COYGIG
Through the celebrations there's the heartbreak for poor Amber. The girl from Donegal scores remembering those killed in the explosion. Jessica was only 24 and laid to rest on the day of the game. What a cruel world this place can be at times.

As an Irish man I'm happy Ireland women's team qualified for a first major tournament can't get bigger than a world Cup. Hi Shebahn, just recently your vlogs have been popping up into my TH-cam feed (the first one was the recent England vs USWNT match-up) and I have subsequently come to the conclusion that I like what you have to say and the vantage point of your content. I'm starting to think that I'm going to like what you have planned for the world cup 2023, which will likely be the first women's world cup to get anything like the attention of the men's. England are European champions so the cat's well and truly out of the bag now. The women's game is here and here to stay, in a big way. The Aussies don't get much of a look in when it comes to football world cups (the only WCs that really matter on a global level) so by all indications, they will be pulling out the stops to do justice to the biggest ever international women's event and the biggest event they have hosted since the 2000 Olympics. And I don't mind admitting that I'm as excited about the forthcoming Women's world Cup as I was for the recent men's addition (possibly more so). Like I said, I'm assuming that because World Cup 2023 is such a beast of an occasion (now 32 nations deep, just like the men) and is yet another shot in the arm for girl power, that you are also planning to push the boat out as well, with lots of delicious footage of your own (no pressure). So you'll be pleased to know that I've subscribed to your channel ...and... clicked the notification bell just for good measure.

Best game I've seen in a long time. Clutch penalty save and a brilliant second half goal. Ruesha got me all misty-eyed at the end there.
