I've always been really puzzled by the "you can't bring your girlfriends home" thing . . . if you were straight, they'd have no objection to you bringing a friend home. And if that friend were your sweetie, they'd just say, "Mike gets the guest room, and under OUR roof, no Hanky-panky!" My reaction would have prob'ly been: "Michelle, you should be nice & comfy on the hide-a-bed. If you stay up late, "talking"; keep it down, cause Dad and I, our Bedroom is right at the top of the stairs"
