I love it, and I love the fact that even though she's all grown up, your daughter is still your "princess." That's lovely.
My Dad passed away almost 15 years ago, and the pieces he made for me are priceless (a Cedar chest, a potato/onion bin, and a cross). Your family is indeed blessed by your gifts, the care, time, and love you put into them will forever be cherished.
The things dads do for their daughters. My dad would surprise us once in awhile. My husband would give the world to our daughters. If he cant buy it, he"ll make it. He made a princess club house. Good job to the real dads out there like this. Beautiful bedroom!

OMGOODNESS!!! To have such a father. What a precious gift. I need just such a storage unit. I'm a disabled senior citizen on a fixed income. I have accumulated SOOO much stuff and I have NO headboard. I am also a widow and would love to do it myself. I live in public housing though and I have no intention of moving. Thank you for your feedback. My father would have been 90 this past June 13th. He fell asleep in death four years ago and I am Firstborn of seven: 5 girls, 2 boys last!!! My mom fell asleep in 2007. She would have been 86 April past. Any father that provides or can provide such a useful convenience for his daughter is worth much praise because he has a special gift from Jehovah God!!! And natural affection for his child; missing in SOOO many today. 😌💓😊

I built a "headboard" for my daughter's room 3 years ago using 3 of the 79" high single bookcases. placed a piece of particle board behind them for extra strength. She loves them. Recently told me that when she moves away to college (or just moves away) in a couple of years, they're going with her. Simple project made easier by the ease of assembly from Ikea.
It’s an heirloom you made for her. Doesn’t matter where you got the cabinets or how much you spent. It’s a wonderful thing!
