All look like great bikes. I’ve spent a fortune on my main road bike, similar amount to a new Ducati, but the UK’s awful weather forces me to look at an off road bike. I need something cheap so will 100% be considering these MTB’s. The Specialized looks like a great option.
MTBs make a great bad weather option here in the UK, they are arguably the most versatile bikes you can buy. Put slicks on and they will be pretty fast on the road, they can double as a gravel bike and tackle gnarly terrain as well, whats not to like!
I got the Specialized Rochopper and I have the fun of my life!!! I'm 43 and I hadn't a bike since I was 16. Before I get it, I thought it would be a bit of a gamble because of my age. Boy I was 100% wrong! When I hit the trail and hit the jumps, I literally feel like a kid having the most fun ever!! Rockhopper is more than enough for the outdoors and since it's a hard tail it's good enough around the ctiy too! Bike turns extremely fast, goes downhill really fast, gears change like a dream, fork suspension is 100% adjustable which helps a lot depending what you do with the bike.Breaks are good. The only thing it needs is a dropper and you're Golden! I'd suggest the Elite version as No1 choice, the Expert as N2 (doesn't matter it costs more, it isn't better than the Elite) and the Comp as a 3d option.I wouldn't suggest the entry level version or the Sport. GET the Rockhoper Elite!!!! PS Also it's the quitest bike ever! You lietrally hear nothing, even the disk breaks don't make those Squeaky sounds that other bikes do!!
What bikes did we miss? Let us know and we'll do our best to review them!
Kona Mahuna?
Scott Aspect 930
Giant fathom 1 29er
Any chance you'll be reviewing the new Voodoo Canzo at all? The top spec seems a little pricey at £1800 but I guess that's for some great componentry?
That's content people want to see 👏
Glad you enjoyed it and we've got more budget content coming soon 🔜
Vitus Nucleus?? Seems like the absolute best value for money mountain bikes out there by, I dare say, a SIGNIFICANTLY margin!
Well, since wiggle just went under, vitus (along with nukeproof and ragley) are dead and you can't get them anymore
I’ve got the nucleus vrs 29… it’s a great bike for 800 quid
Really hope Vitus comes back soon....I LOVE my Mythique!
@@lavefa they won't be coming back. Mike Ashley's Frasers Group bought wiggle and they're already running it into the ground
@@lavefa the website is still active but not stocked anywhere 🤷🏼♂️

Dimwits!
Great bike, but is £600 more than the Specialized, so hard to argue its better value.
Lovely bike though all the same!
Tiny chainrings will be frustrating - I have 2x10 with 38x10 as the top gear and do use it especially when on road sections between trails.
I like Polygon Siskiu D6 ❤❤❤
It's a great little bike!
Polygon Xtrada 6
Lots of love for Polygon bikes here!
Polygon syncline c5 29er 😘
Looks a great budget XC bike on paper, we'll have to see if we can sling a leg over one!
4 out of 5 are UK bikes
We'll look to include more overseas bikes in future budget videos, but its always hard for us to test them due to unavailability over here
@@bikeradar yes please, especially for continental europe because british bikes are hard to find here (I live in Switzerland)
Orbea Alma H30, really good bike for a reasonable budget.
That's one cool looking hardtail at a solid price point. Good shout!

That Rockhopper looks like it still has QR 🤔
Looks like the Carbon Bizango is also not on sale any more…
Good spot, and one we missed. If you can find one used though, could be even more of a bargain!
Voodoo hit a sweet spot for the money
Commenting for the algorithm
Rockrider race 720, look no further.
Looks a nice cross country bike, but thought it would be cheaper when we looked it up!
