Just look for your AC model in the home mate app. After that enable the Home mate skill after that in the Alexa app. However i havent managed to use schedules for the AC in Alexa.
I have done all the process. It successfully connected to alexa. But command is not executed, alexa says not working but mobile remote working.. pls help
Should work for 15 ft atleast, as long as it is in clear view of the end device. Works on the same infrared as your regular remote. So the distance will be similar.
@@stuffido6080 in case I want to control TV, AC which cannot be in line of sight to a single receiver, can I SEAMLESSLY have 2 devices in sync with Alexa to control the paired TV, AC, etc across different rooms?
Good to know. Is the IRblaster working with app? If it is then please look to enable the skill in the Alexa app. I have been using 2 of these at home and have no issues for almost a year.
@@stuffido6080 I have already added their skills from Alexa device add skill option . I have seen lots of tutorials as well to make it working - No luck Very worst thing is no support
If you'd like to watch how to program the Homemate IR Blaster manually please let me know here.

Thank you so much for replying. I'm using black Decker AC. Does it support? Where do I get list of model supported?
Can you set up multiple devices with the app? Like controlling my AC, set top box, IR bulbs etc?
Yes. The IR bulbs may require you to use the programming mode though.
@@stuffido6080 gotcha, thanks :) liked the video too!
Can this device work with jio set top box and O-general ACs??
Great video btw
It should. It may require you to use the programming mode though.
@@stuffido6080 how do i do that?

Have you enabled the skill within the Alexa app? If so delete the skill and reinstall it.

Once programmed, Will it work without wifi ?
No wifi is required.
I have done all the process. It successfully connected to alexa. But command is not executed, alexa says check your power connection
Check and see if the Alexa device and the IR Blaster are on the same wifi.

IR blaster not working with Alexa Poor service from HomeMate support team . They are saying we are not providing third party (Alexa) support .
